Stating Historical Facts Is Not Discrimination

Blacks were once enslaved in America. Jews were once persecuted and killed by Germany’s NAZI Party. Thomas Jefferson fought and defeated Muslims who were, even that long ago, targeting Christians because they believed their religion mandated such of them. These are all statements of historical fact. None of them are discriminatory. They are truths. Continue reading

The High Cost Of Liberalism – 10 Million Jobs

President Barack Obama loves to talk about nebulous concepts while trying to convince Americans that he has been a successful Chief Executive. For example, when discussing the economy he often talks about jobs “saved or created” or how things would have been much worse had he and Congress not spent our grandchildren into crushing debt. Earlier this week I posted on my site a short comment that liberalism has cost America millions of jobs. That immediately drew a barking response from a plethora of moonbats who adore the ground upon which President Obama walks. They demanded I, “prove it.” My response to each was, ok, wait for this week’s article if you are so eager to be shown a fool. Continue reading

Reagan’s Enduring, And Silly, 11th Commandment

Ronald Reagan is, without a doubt, the best President America was blessed with in the 20th Century. But, when you look at his competition, such was not necessarily that hard of a feat to accomplish. I mean seriously. There were a plethora of left wingers, fascist wanna-bes and so-called conservatives who exhibited a wondering eye for socialist policies. The list includes the likes of Teddy Roosevelt, Woodrow Wilson, Franklin D. Roosevelt (x4), Harry Truman, Lyndon B. Johnson, Richard Nixon, Jimmy Carter, George H. W. Bush and William Jefferson Clinton. Knock them off the list and who was his only real competition for such a title? Continue reading

I Guess I Will Be The One To Say It. Newt, You Are A Liar!

Just like when I hear fingernails on a chalkboard, I cringe every time Newt Gingrich opens his mouth to spout off about how he helped balance the budget during the 1990s. It is even more annoying when he claims to have done so not just once, but four times. Do I get annoyed because Newt had nothing to do with the balanced budgets of the 1990’s? Nope. It is because there never was a ‘balanced budget’ at all going back to the Republican Revolution of 1994. Continue reading

Boeing Gets Last Laugh?

Organized Labor was all aglow. After the National Labor Relations Board decided it was going to tell Boeing that the company could not shift production from its union shop in Seattle to its non-union shop in South Carolina, there was reason to celebrate. Big Labor had successfully enlisted its allies in Big Government to infringe upon the economic liberty of Americans and a company in order to protect itself. There were smiles all around among the workers and their leaders. Continue reading

The Bain Of Our Existence? Hardly!

I cannot help it. I have to defend Mitt Romney from idiocy. Yes, I know the man is a RINO. However even a RINO deserves to be defended when the attacks against him are unwarranted and so utterly crackpot in nature that they fly in the face of reality. Continue reading

Ron Paul’s Support Among Military? 4.4% … At Best.

Ron Paul’s supporters are diligent in their support of him. Unfortunately, a lot of that support is what is known in the software industry as vaporware. In other words it is phony to non-existent. Right now, for example, I have a bunch of emails flooding my inbox telling me why I should support Ron Paul from droves of supposedly enthusiastic Paulbots. The problem however is that 98% of those emails are from obviously hastily registered email addresses at any number of free email service providers. In email after email the message is the same, word for droning word. Checking the IP Addresses in the email headers shows that many of these messages are being sent from the same computer under different emails. One enthusiastic Paulbot sent me the same message, under different Gmail addresses, thirty-seven times within the span of three hours. He even forgot to change his signature every time he sent it. So, “B. Anderson”, and I know you are reading this, try to at least be a little less obvious next time ok? And you folks honestly wonder why I make fun of you? Continue reading

Twas the Night Before Liberal Christmas 2011

‘Twas the night before liberal Christmas, and all ‘cross the land,
The mood on the left was somber, their rhetoric quite bland.
Children they huddled in town squares with hands out,
The Occupy protestors beat cops and did shout. Continue reading

I Agree! EVERYONE Should Pay Their Fair Share!

There is an old saying which applies to courtrooms and debates. It warns one to never ask a question to which they do not already know the answer to. Political hacks, in addition to bad lawyers and poor debaters, often disregard this well founded warning. Continue reading

Mad Or Otherwise Alan Grayson Won’t Go Away

In Florida, Former Congressman Alan Grayson is trying to once again become Congressman Alan Grayson. After getting trounced in 2010, many hoped that this foaming at the mouth moonbat would just go away and slither back into whatever ooze filled hole gave birth to him. We did not care if he went away mad or not. We just wanted him to go away. Well, he is not going away. Continue reading

Interference of the Tortious Kind This Way Comes

Politicians are wicked beasts. Some people believe this is due to their lack of a moral compass. The truth however is that these heinous creatures do indeed have a moral compass. However it operates on a reverse polarity from reality and points as far away from true north as possible. This causes them to predictably do what is exactly the wrong thing in any given situation except by some sheer preponderance of luck brought on by the proper alignment of the planets in the solar system. Continue reading

“Occupy” Protesters Find Willing Media Dupe To Bring Back “Tea Party” Comparison

Desperate to be seen in a positive light in the wake of murders, rapes, riots, destruction of private property, rampant drug use and open support from the American NAZI Party and the Communist Party USA, “Occupy” protesters are in a bind. They just cannot get the majority of the American people to take them at all seriously and join with them in their anti-American tirades. Scream as they might that they are the “99%”, they just cannot make it so. Continue reading

Herman Cain Sexually Assaulted Me

These are indeed dark days for the Herman Cain campaign. How many women has this diabolical fiend harassed, assaulted and even raped during his tenure with the National Restaurant Association? Not to mention during his many other years of life! Continue reading

Success By Failure – The Way Forward For President Obama

Last week President Obama proclaimed a successful conclusion to U.S. involvement in Iraq with troops scheduled to be home by the end of the year. The President and his surrogates have not been shy about reminding everyone who will listen these days, which are not people many by the look of things, that this fulfills his ardent campaign promise to do so. Of course the fact that this “success” only came about because his Administration failed to negotiate an extension, which they wanted, of said troops to remain in Iraq is not all that important to him. Continue reading

From 9-9-9 To ?-?-?

Herman Cain’s 9-9-9 plan is still receiving a lot of scrutiny. That scrutiny comes from people who either do not understand how to do simple math, who have nothing better to offer or who just want to maintain the status quo. Recently I warned in a posting on my personal website that Herman Cain should ditch the 9-9-9 plan. Continue reading

We Already Have A National Sales Tax

Lots of foolish people rail against the idea of a national retail sales tax. You know, like the FairTax.

But why? We already have a national sales tax. It is called the corporate income tax. The reason the corporate income tax is the same as a national sales tax is that everything you buy has the fallout of this tax lumped into it. The only difference is that the amount of this current “sales tax” which you pay with every purchase is hidden and shows up nowhere on your bill when you go to the grocery store or shop for clothes or buy yourself a new refrigerator. Continue reading

UPMC’s Taking Snit With Highmark Out On Patients?

In the Greater Pittsburgh area, the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) is well known. Sometimes however it is not known for the best of reasons. While UPMC has many good doctors that work for it and is known for good quality care, it is also often cursed for what it has done. For years and years UPMC has been gobbling up as many regional hospitals and doctor’s offices under its own banner as it can. Continue reading

What Really Happened In Ludlow And That The Unions Won’t Tell You

Well, as is typical every Labor Day holiday, and when I point out sad but true things about organized labor, I get hit with the emails howling in protest over my “assault” on the “working class”. Of course by “working class” these emailers really mean union workers because, as we all know, no one else, such as myself, works here in America right? Oh please, spare me. Continue reading

No Number Of Broken Windows Can Save Us

I know it was predictable. But it is still pathetic. In the wake of Hurricane Irene ripping up the East Coast, although much, much weaker than was predicted, there are people salivating about how the billions in damage may provide a spark for the sluggish U.S. economy. I really wish I knew how many more times we have to suffer through this sort of tripe from people who obviously have never bothered to learn anything of importance except how to pound on keys and produce idiocy. Continue reading
