Senator Jim Bunning is being hailed as a hero by some for his recent actions in trying to hold up an extension of unemployment benefits because the terms of PAYGO (pay-as-you-go) were not being met despite all the fanfare liberals heaped upon themselves for putting forth such a measure. Too many conservatives are singing his praises in a sickening chorus. The man still supports the unconstitutional spending of federal money on unemployment however. But that is lost in talk about his strong “fiscal conservative” actions.

I find it absolutely laughable that today there is actually a serious debate, at least among the left, about how we need desperately a socialized, government controlled medicine system to cover the nebulous uninsured. I find it odd because we already have so much socialized medicine in America and we can see it failing all around us. Yes, it is true.

Right now I am preparing myself for the inevitable onslaught of angry emails from indignant McCain supporters who just hate how I point out how utterly stupid and unqualified to be a Senator this man is. These emails ignore the truth of the mater and the facts that I discuss and almost always resort to the final claim that because he served in the military and served as a POW that he deserves more respect than I give him. I know the claim is vacuous and put forth by sophomoric types that cannot legitimately defend a man who has been one of the biggest destroyers of our Republic. But I am ready for them none-the-less.

Progressives like President Obama are jokes. To a man and woman, those on the left think we are stupid. They will try to get their way piecemeal if they cannot do it whole hog. And in the process they think they are being generous.

Actually, that title is probably a little misleading. Lots of people cared that it died and are quite happy. But few people are really broken up about it. Certainly not the vast majority of Americans that are happy with our semi-private system that struggles every day to work around the bureaucratic red tape and regulations trying to strangle it out of existence. And certainly not the many Americans that still think the Constitution matters and who don’t want a totalitarian leftist state micromanaging our lives.

Day in and day out, liberals tell us all about their ideas. Recycled from nearly a hundred years of failed liberal policies tried, tried and tried again only to fail every time, they have absolutely no shortage of ideas to hurl at the American public.

Here we go again. Yet another day and yet another poll that irks the liberal left in America. This time from the Washington Post. According to a new Washington Post-ABC News poll, “By 58 percent to 38 percent, Americans said they prefer smaller government and fewer services to larger government with more services.”

Over the Christmas holiday I spent some time thinking about ways that Americans could fight for their personal sovereignty and against the latest oppressive and unconstitutional plans of liberals in Washington D.C. to control our health care and insurance systems.

The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) is a prime example of government overreach that just keeps overreaching. With no constitutional authority, the agency has been tasked with monitoring and punishing speech as well as regulating who can speak for decades. While people with a brain see that as a violation of the first amendment, liberals have sloughed off concerns for years because to accept the truth would mean they would have one less avenue to control the American public.

I am truly blessed. Living here in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania I get to be represented by three of the biggest dunderheads in Congress. Benedict Arlen, can’t decide what he stands for, Specter and Bobby, vote for me because of my daddy while I don’t show up for work, Casey are my Senators. And to top it all off, my representative in the House is one of the biggest liberals out there – Rep. Mike Doyle.
