Iran’s wacko President who repeatedly calls for the destruction of Israel and espouses his hatred for the United States is at it again. Like most delusional tyrants he has a hard time dealing with the truth and his story straight.

Americans keep getting taught important lessons. Americans however also keep ignoring those important lessons. Who knows why exactly they do this. Perhaps they are just too stubborn and too desirous to live in a world that does not exist. We all know that fools abound and surround us so it would not be that hard to imagine.

Let us start the new year off with a big bang, so to speak, shall we? While some pundits are looking to ease into 2009 after a few weeks off for family and friends, I will jump right in with both feet and set myself up to be called every slur in the book by people without a clue, but who probably think that they know what is best.

When in doubt, get a catch phrase. For some opposed to certain policies, such as helping people in the Middle East throw off dictators, they have one that is a simple term; blowback. It’s become a term of derision hurled against those that they disagree with in order to justify why the United States should adopt a blanket policy of isolationist non-interventionism in world affairs and avoid any debate.

According to a recent Zogby poll, 52% of Americans support “a U.S. military strike to prevent Iran from building a nuclear weapon”. Just in case that is unclear, it means that the majority of Americans are in favor of war with Iran. Which means I have to ask the serious question of whether or not everyone that supports such an action is ready to stick with the repercussions of such a strike? Or are they going to get upset when everything isn’t settled within thirty minutes or less?

Baseball may be America’s favorite pastime, but liberals have a favorite pastime of their own; stretching and warping the Constitution. They’ve been at it so long that it has become a sport which they excel at and one at which daily practice is strongly encouraged, if not already mandated, for any aspiring leftist.

Hey dude, what’s up! I see you managed to give in to your vanity, finally pick up some of that “Just for Islamic Wackos” and take care of that gray beard of yours. It really wasn’t very distinguished anyway. Are they paying you well for your promotion of their product? I should warn you however that they do use pig fat in the manufacturing of the product.

Congressman Bernie Thompson is your typical liberal. He believes in Socialized Medicine, redistribution of wealth programs such as Social Security, government interference with banks and other lenders to enable people who can’t afford loans to obtain them so they can live beyond their means and eventually default on their promises, government dictating what wages companies pay, and many other things beyond the power of the general Welfare clause of Article I, Section 8 of the United States Constitution.
