» Blowback Happens Regardless

When in doubt, get a catch phrase. For some opposed to certain policies, such as helping people in the Middle East throw off dictators, they have one that is a simple term; blowback. It’s become a term of derision hurled against those that they disagree with in order to justify why the United States should adopt a blanket policy of isolationist non-interventionism in world affairs and avoid any debate.

» Americans Ready For Another Domino’s Pizza War?

According to a recent Zogby poll, 52% of Americans support “a U.S. military strike to prevent Iran from building a nuclear weapon”. Just in case that is unclear, it means that the majority of Americans are in favor of war with Iran. Which means I have to ask the serious question of whether or not everyone that supports such an action is ready to stick with the repercussions of such a strike? Or are they going to get upset when everything isn’t settled within thirty minutes or less?

» Have Liberals Finally Stretched The Constitution Too Far?

Baseball may be America’s favorite pastime, but liberals have a favorite pastime of their own; stretching and warping the Constitution. They’ve been at it so long that it has become a sport which they excel at and one at which daily practice is strongly encouraged, if not already mandated, for any aspiring leftist.

» Dear Usama (A Letter To Usama bin Laden)

Hey dude, what’s up! I see you managed to give in to your vanity, finally pick up some of that “Just for Islamic Wackos” and take care of that gray beard of yours. It really wasn’t very distinguished anyway. Are they paying you well for your promotion of their product? I should warn you however that they do use pig fat in the manufacturing of the product.

» Words Have Power? Bennie Thompson’s Epiphany?

Congressman Bernie Thompson is your typical liberal. He believes in Socialized Medicine, redistribution of wealth programs such as Social Security, government interference with banks and other lenders to enable people who can’t afford loans to obtain them so they can live beyond their means and eventually default on their promises, government dictating what wages companies pay, and many other things beyond the power of the general Welfare clause of Article I, Section 8 of the United States Constitution.

» Where Is Candidate Rudy Paul or Ron Giuliani

The 2008 GOP presidential nominees seem to be not inspiring much support among conservatives. Oh sure, among the center-right Republicans candidates like Mitt “Damn I Look Good” Romney, Rudy “I’m The Anti-pro-anti-abortion Candidate” Giuliani and John “Say Good-bye To Your First Amendment” McCain look great. But for the conservatives? We basically grimace every time we look at the crowd of hopefuls.

» Now Liberals Want A “Rubber Stamp”?

When Republicans controlled both houses of Congress and the White House liberals used to complain that Congress was simply being a “rubber stamp” for President George Bush and his right wing agenda. They wailed and they moaned about how it was such a terrible thing and used procedural measures and phony filibusters to stop anything that they could from coming up for a vote. But now things have apparently changed. Apparently now that liberals are in power they are upset that there isn’t a “rubber stamp” on their policies.

» How Buy Friends And Purchase People

Barack Obama, is out there (really out there) stumping for his party’s nomination for President in 2008. And by the sound of his his recent speech in Chicago, what he is proposing is a liberal’s dream come true when it comes to securing influence and new friends around the world. In short, he plans to buy them off by sending taxpayer dollars over seas and spreading socialism to all.

» Beware the Radical … Uh … Christians?

So, you think our elected leaders are finally taking seriously exactly just how soft of targets our schools really are? You may certainly think this when New Jersey’s Burlington Township School Superintendent Chris Manno said of a mock terrorist attack on the school and training session that “We need to practice under conditions as real as possible”.

» Stop Fighting! We’re Trying To Get To Paradise!

Last weekend, United for Peace and Justice staged a rally in Washington DC to protest the war in Iraq and were backed by the usual left wing Marxist suspects. Lest I be accused of “McCarthyism” by those with their heads firmly planted in the sand, please be aware that the list of supporters of this group and this protest is freely available on United for Peace and Justice’s own website. This list contains more than a few groups who, unlike this front group, are bold enough to freely use the terms “socialist” and “communist” in their names.
