The military first told us that Major Hasan, the shooter at Fort Hood, had died. Then this morning when I awoke I learned that this was not true. All very weird.
I said on Monday in a post titled, “When The Weird Gets Bizarre” that the whole issue of Barack Obama, his birth certificate and his ultimate eligibility to serve as President just keeps getting stranger and stranger with the actions of hospitals hiding so-called letters from the President proclaiming birth in one place while it has been repeatedly reported in others by the mainstream media.
As much lip service as many Americans (usually the more liberal ones among us) give to the claim that they really do “support the troops,” time and again they actually don’t. For example, polls have readily shown that members of the American military supported John McCain over Barack Obama by wide margins. But liberals that claim to “support the troops” still voted for Obama anyway against the wishes of the soldiers they claim to support.
I have not forgotten, nor will I forget.

Blessed are the peacemakers, especially those that did not return. Memorial Day is the day we honor those that died in battle fighting not just for Americans, but for all people who yearn to have the blessings of liberty.
