I want to, once again, make something clear. I am not endorsing Rick Santorum for the GOP nomination for President. You Mitt, Newt and cuckoo Paul supporters who think that because I spend a lot of time pointing out how bad each of your favorite candidates are like to read that into each of my comments on the GOP race. But I will remind you, I wrote the article If Santorum Is “Conservative” We’re In Trouble years ago to point out how liberal I though he really was. I have also more recently referred to Mr. Santorum as the nothing better than the fly on top of the crap pile that is the GOP field. So quit your selective reading of what I write and deal in facts ok?

Now, that said, new polling by PPP, admittedly a left wing group, has Santorum up in Minnesota with 33% over Romney at 24%. In Colorado they have him in second at 27% behind Romney at 37%. These are the Midwest states that Santorum has to win or be ultra competitive in in order to justify staying in the race. Colorado is worth 36 delegates (non-binding) and Minnesota is worth 40 delegates (non-binding)

It is not just Catholics that must be willing to fight against the precepts of Obamacare and state fascism whereby the government believes it can dictate the conscious of a religion. No. All Christians, Jews and people of all faiths must stand against such tyranny. If not, then the old adage will come to pass whereby it is wisely said that first they came for the Catholics, but since I was not Catholic I said nothing. Then they came for the Jews, but since I was not Jewish I said nothing. Now they have come for me and there is no one left to stand with me.

It is true that the Catholic church bears some responsibility for the predicament it is in with the Obama Administration now trying to persuade them to provide contraceptive services against Church doctrines. They have for years accepted money from the federal coffers to line their own pockets and are indeed reaping the seeds sewn from this unholy alliance. But that is not reason enough to shun them now in their time of need. A line in the sand must be drawn. And if Washington chooses to interfere with the Church, any church, it must be met with force which they can understand and not ignore from a united front.

Now we are millions of jobs behind with millions of Americans who want to work out of work. All of those Americans are wasting their human capital and being encouraged to do so at the behest of government.

Reversing course is our only option if we ever again want prosperity.

Google has agreed to censor itself in India, removing web content that offends the country’s religious and political leadership. With the move Google should update its motto from “Don’t be evil” to “Don’t hurt the company’s bottom line”. Google needs to tap markets like India in order to continue to grow and clearly entered into the agreement to protect its profits and keep from being shut out of the growing market India represents.

This is not self censorship mind you. This is censorship at the hands of the State. A recent court ruling forced companies like Google and Facebook into pulling certain content. Google did not want to do this, otherwise they would have done it before.

It is one thing for companies to opt to do these sorts of things on their own. It is another entirely when the State coerces the action. The former is liberty. The latter is totalitarianism. Google falls into the category of a crony capitalist, which is to say not real capitalists at all, with this choice and by allowing itself to be censored and not embracing the free markets and telling India to pound salt.

I have no doubt that at first he would try to do this thought the court system. But what will he do once this strategy fails to get Catholics, aside from liberal loony ones like Nancy Pelosi, to yield? Will he have the foolish courage to start shooting nuns and priests in the streets?

Let us hope to never have to find out. Let us hope for change at the White House come next year. Let us hope that which ever GOP liberal gets elected in November he has the political courage, with the help of Congress, to change course quickly.

To be so bold to tell the Catholic Church that it must start providing birth control services at its hospitals, something that goes against their faith and which clearly violates the First Amendment, and to do so in an election year, the President must honestly believe that the fix is in and that no matter what he does his reelection is guaranteed by hook or by crook. To so clearly overstep, poo poo criticism, basically tell Catholics to go to Hell and that they will submit to the will of the State is yet more arrogance from The One. All Americans should be fearful. What does President Obama know and have planned to be so confident that his reign as sovereign will continue beyond January 2013?

I don not know how many times I have to tell you that Newt Gingrich has liberal leanings. Oh no, I hear you folks say in my email every day, Newt is a “real conservative”.

No. No he is not.

Real conservatives do not act like children. Particularly, they do not act like children and try to change the rules of the game after the game has been played. This week, Newt’s campaign announced that it would challenge Florida’s winner-take-all delegate process. Why? Because Newt didn’t win. And he wants some of those delegates which he has no right to.

The request is downright wrong. The rules were set. You knew them going in Newt. Respect them and move on.

The RNC already stripped Florida of half its delegates because it dared to buck the good old boy network within the GOP. That network allows small, often liberal leaning states (Iowa and New Hampshire), to take the lead in narrowing down the Republican field months before most people even get to have their say. Now Gingrich wants the RNC to infringe further on Florida?

Grow up Newt. Just because you are not the RINO of choice is no reason to go super RINO on poor little Florida.
