» This Is My Hill

Eventually, if you want to enact positive change you have to fight for that change. If you don’t, you’ll just get more of the same. Right now America is in full retreat, being chased from each hilltop by anti-American forces touting their weapons of class warfare, rights descendant from bureaucrats and mob rule where the minority is not protected.

» Far Too Many Americas

The problem with America is simple – there are far too many “Americas”. John Edwards, now a perennial also-ran in the presidential race, once opined about the direness of there being only a mere “two Americas” where he tried the typical class warfare tactic of pitting the poor and lower middle class against the upper middle class and the “rich”. If only it was so simple.

» Are You Terrified Of Economic Trouble?

Are you worried that the markets are going to crash, that you aren’t going to have enough money to pay off your credit cards, that your investments might falter, that the company you work for might not have enough work in the coming year and that your could be looking for work, and that generally the entire economy might be headed for Hell in a hand basket? » Holiday Torture – Christmasboarding Liberals

When the founding fathers repeatedly referred to God through various flowery and reverent terms in the Declaration of Independence, there was a reason for it. The reason is that they believed in God as men of deep Judeo-Christian faith. When George Washington prayed at Valley Forge he did not do so just because he thought that it might have been a novel idea. No, there was a deeper reason for it. You’re dollar was backed by a dollars worth of gold which in theory you should have been able to get by simply turning in your dollar.

» Blowback Happens Regardless

When in doubt, get a catch phrase. For some opposed to certain policies, such as helping people in the Middle East throw off dictators, they have one that is a simple term; blowback. It’s become a term of derision hurled against those that they disagree with in order to justify why the United States should adopt a blanket policy of isolationist non-interventionism in world affairs and avoid any debate.

» Invasion of the American’ts

Last week a government employee being paid by the taxpayers showed an attitude that has become prevalent in America. Upset at possibly being assigned to Iraq and actually doing his job, State Department employee Jack Croddy became irate. Ranting about the dangers and how he had a family and whining about who would take care of his children if he were killed, Mr. Croddy displayed the prime trait of the American’ts.

» Infallible Human Shields Blown Up By Reality

Today’s modern liberals with their progressive, socialist theories have a long history of propping up what they arbitrarily determine to be infallible human shields in order to block criticism of their ideas which, when examined, are not very sound or rooted in anything other than touchy-feely do-gooderism. It is the most ineffectual way to argue your point but goes along with the basis of liberal philosophy which boils down to, “that’s the way it is because I say so.” The actually authority or correctness of whatever “I” they trot out before the public to defend their ideas however doesn’t matter.

» Kick The Liberals Out And Reset The Constitution

With members of the ultra-left Middlebury Institute sitting down with members of the League of the South, who are devoted to more limited government, and the two discussing plans for leaving the United States, the topic of secession has once again become just slightly more popular dinner conversation than how much lint Aunt Carla found in her belly button last night. Both groups, despite their divergence on almost everything else political, want to be able to leave the United States peacefully.
