To some the issue of secession was settled with the Civil War. To people with this mindset, the final answer is that no state has the right to leave the Union. However to those who are truly Americans and educated about our history, the issue of secession was settled with the Declaration of Independence

Back in college I remember a conversation with another student who was not really a friend but more of an acquaintance. One day we just so happened to be parked next to each other and he was asking me about my beat up ’83 Caprice Classic. He had a much nicer ’94 Lumina which his dad had bought for him two years before and which he was complaining about not running very well.

Barack Obama is out on the stump using the skills he learned as a “community organizer” to try and woo support while talking about little of substance. He has the liberal psychobabble down pat and uses tried and true tactics any time someone levies any criticism against him.

My fellow Americans, I come before you today to humbly ask for your vote this November at a pivotal time in America. We can no longer ignore the pressing issues facing our country and that is why it is imperative that you consider the future of this great nation.

Have you heard? The economy sucks. Maybe you have read about it in the newspaper, on various internet sites or even heard about it on the evening news or the radio. That is, if you can even afford to pay for newspapers, internet access or electricity to power your television without giving up important things like providing dinner for your children who are now relegated to wearing burlap sacks once filled with potatoes.

Perhaps as a child you once sang a fun little ditty about a hapless man, named Henry and his beloved, named Liza. See, this song is about a problem Henry has. His bucket has a hole in it so it is pretty much useless. But instead of handling the problem himself, he runs to ask Liza what he should do.

Those who have a tendency to lean to the left talk a lot. Often they do so in very loud voices to attempt to filibuster any opposition to them. But it is not the fact that they talk a lot or even loudly that gets them into trouble. What gets them into trouble is that they talk a lot without uttering much of substance. What they do is ramble on and usually spout off about things that sound really good to their own ears but make little sense and that do not stand up under scrutiny.

Barack Obama’s pastor, excuse me “former” pastor - like that makes a difference, the hate spewing Reverend Jeremiah Wright has made a career of telling his congregation to avoid “middleclassness” as well as preaching to them from the pulpit about the superiority of being “black” and embracing “black” values above other values. Because, as we all know, “blacks” are superior. Right?

Hillary Clinton is proving one thing – she is no Bill Clinton. When it came to having a way with words, her hubby Bill could make you believe that everything he said made sense. Even if what he had to say was absolute nonsensical gobbledygook.

Eventually, if you want to enact positive change you have to fight for that change. If you don’t, you’ll just get more of the same. Right now America is in full retreat, being chased from each hilltop by anti-American forces touting their weapons of class warfare, rights descendant from bureaucrats and mob rule where the minority is not protected.
