Thanksgiving Day Prayer 2010

Lord in Heaven, we come before you today to give thanks for the year that was and ask your blessing for the year to come. On this day we thank you for those that we have by our side and humbly ask that you watch over those that could not be with us today. We thank you for the blessing of liberty which you have bestowed upon each of us upon conception of our life and which remains with us until the day you decide that our time on Earth is through. Liberals Always Find Religion For The Strangest Reasons

Liberals, progressives, Marxists, whatever they are callingthemselves these days because their previous chosen titles have become too toxic and too well associated with what they rightfully believe cannot be real Christians. Sure, they fool themselves into believing that they are and get into a huff whenever it is pointed out that it is hard to be a Christian when basic tenants of their politics such as taking from others what they have earned and then redistributing those confiscated things to others who covet them are in direct contradiction to the religion’s most basic principles. No Grace For Liberals

My wife, who I always run my weekly articles by, said this article sounded preachy. That is sort of the point. If you are one of my regular readers, you know that I have no qualms about being blunt ““ which also happens to sound “preachy” at times.
