Recently here in Pennsylvania the anti-smokers have been on the march waging their usual campaign against private property rights. On radio they have been running ads featuring two fictitious anti-smokers sitting in a restaurant having a nice chat, ordering waffles and bemoaning how they like the food but hate the evil, vile, disgusting smokers that the owners have the gall to allow in the restaurant and breathe the same air as they are. They then revert to the typical canard of the government should “do something”.

The Elders of the Democratic Party threw down the gauntlet before the primaries began. States were warned that if they violated party rules and moved their primaries to dates that did not comply with the Party’s schedule that those states would be punished by not having their delegates seated.

Following her primary victories over rival Barack Obama on Tuesday, Hillary Clinton proclaimed, “We’re going to protect our country and preserve our Constitution. We’re going to lead with our values.” So, once again Clinton has said two different things at the same time. Sort of like when she didn’t support supporting her non-support for her support of driver’s licenses for illegals.

Hillary Clinton is proving one thing – she is no Bill Clinton. When it came to having a way with words, her hubby Bill could make you believe that everything he said made sense. Even if what he had to say was absolute nonsensical gobbledygook.

The dictionary defines change as something “radically different” or to “undergo a modification”. So here is a riddle. When is change not change but just more of the status quo? When it’s Barack Obama’s version of change of course.

So which are you? Are you a racist or are you a sexist? This is the question that is facing Democrats this election year as they head to the polls and decide whether to vote for Hillary Clinton or for Barack Obama.

Sitting in New Hampshire with a gathering of locals around a crowded restaurant table, Hillary Clinton fielded questions including one from an inquisitive lady asking, “How do you do it?” Hillary Clinton, carpetbag Senatorette of New York, seized the question for a tear jerking response that was more telling than perhaps she wanted it to be. “It’s not easy,” she replied, “I couldn’t do it if I just didn’t passionately believe it was the right thing to do. I have so many opportunities from this country.”

Liberals complain loudly about President Bush and how he is supposedly accruing power to the Executive Branch. While he has certainly promoted some bad laws, which liberals would tend to love otherwise, that increase the power of the federal government as a whole and without Constitutional Amendment, to say that he is accruing power for himself is a bit of a stretch. If you listen to the political left, President Bush is a virtual tyrant wielding dictatorial power.
