Perhaps as a child you once sang a fun little ditty about a hapless man, named Henry and his beloved, named Liza. See, this song is about a problem Henry has. His bucket has a hole in it so it is pretty much useless. But instead of handling the problem himself, he runs to ask Liza what he should do.

You may have heard the commercials being run around the country sponsored by the AARP as part of their “Divided We Fail” campaign. If you have not had the nauseating displeasure of hearing these ads, here is the deal. The goal of these advertisements is to demand that questions be asked of the Presidential candidates as to exactly how much more government they will impose on us because there are people in America that are not, perish the thought, happy.

Liberals are still out there fighting hard for socialized medicine because it is just one more way for them to get their hands in your pockets and micromanage your life. And what is wrong with a little, itsy bitsy, teeny-weenie white lie along the way to help further their goal right?

Well, they are at it again down in Washington and on the campaign trail. The pandering for votes continues and as Congressmen, Senators and presidential hopefuls without enough candlepower to fire a few brain cells are trying to find out why gas prices are so gosh darn high. Their target? Evil, wicked, naughty “Big Oil.” Yeah, big shock there! Because we all know that “Big Oil” is to blame right?

Barack Obama’s pastor, excuse me “former” pastor - like that makes a difference, the hate spewing Reverend Jeremiah Wright has made a career of telling his congregation to avoid “middleclassness” as well as preaching to them from the pulpit about the superiority of being “black” and embracing “black” values above other values. Because, as we all know, “blacks” are superior. Right?

Recently here in Pennsylvania the anti-smokers have been on the march waging their usual campaign against private property rights. On radio they have been running ads featuring two fictitious anti-smokers sitting in a restaurant having a nice chat, ordering waffles and bemoaning how they like the food but hate the evil, vile, disgusting smokers that the owners have the gall to allow in the restaurant and breathe the same air as they are. They then revert to the typical canard of the government should “do something”.

The Elders of the Democratic Party threw down the gauntlet before the primaries began. States were warned that if they violated party rules and moved their primaries to dates that did not comply with the Party’s schedule that those states would be punished by not having their delegates seated.

Following her primary victories over rival Barack Obama on Tuesday, Hillary Clinton proclaimed, “We’re going to protect our country and preserve our Constitution. We’re going to lead with our values.” So, once again Clinton has said two different things at the same time. Sort of like when she didn’t support supporting her non-support for her support of driver’s licenses for illegals.

Hillary Clinton is proving one thing – she is no Bill Clinton. When it came to having a way with words, her hubby Bill could make you believe that everything he said made sense. Even if what he had to say was absolute nonsensical gobbledygook.
