Those who say that we cannot legislate morality are woefully ignorant sorts. It is a fact that morality is indeed legislated. However the limits of government legislating morality fall into he same confines of all other abilities of government to legislate. Ohio, Michigan, Texas, Florida, Oklahoma, Nebraska and South Carolina, along with two private citizens, a Catholic School and two religious non-profit groups have punched back at President Obama back after he slapped down religious liberties and the First Amendment. The group of plaintiffs are suing over the constitutionality of Obama’s contraception mandate where religious groups who do not believe in chemical contraception will be required to pay for the chemical contraception services of their employees through their health insurance plans.
