The Department of Labor announced Wednesday that it is distributing the next $5 million of a $16,233,360 “National Emergency Grant” to Ohio to help displaced workers. Those who say that we cannot legislate morality are woefully ignorant sorts. It is a fact that morality is indeed legislated. However the limits of government legislating morality fall into he same confines of all other abilities of government to legislate. We legislate against the immoral acts of theft and murder because those acts cause real and measurable harm to the victims. Only when such a standard is met can morality be legislated. Social Security Disability is slated to run out of funds in 2017. It is going belly up right along side of Medicare. OH, MI, TX, FL, OK, NE, SC Sue Obama Over First Amendment Violations
Ohio, Michigan, Texas, Florida, Oklahoma, Nebraska and South Carolina, along with two private citizens, a Catholic School and two religious non-profit groups have punched back at President Obama back after he slapped down religious liberties and the First Amendment. The group of plaintiffs are suing over the constitutionality of Obama’s contraception mandate where religious groups who do not believe in chemical contraception will be required to pay for the chemical contraception services of their employees through their health insurance plans.
