On Half Measures

Half measures always yield let than half the results of the whole measure. If you elect a man who is, at best, half conservative America will get far less than half of what we need to be done done. It … Continue reading

Keep Newt In Perspective

I have an admonition to make. Keep in mind who Newt is if you decide he is the Not Mitt for 2012. This is the guy who called Rep. Paul Ryan’s budget dangerous as “right wing” social engineering. This despite … Continue reading

Thomas Jefferson Wisdom

A wise and frugal government … shall restrain men from injuring one another, shall leave them otherwise free to regulate their own pursuits of industry and improvement, and shall not take from the mouth of labor the bread it has earned. This is the sum of good government… Continue reading

Wow, I Sure Am Glad I This Nimrod Wrote Me!

As the saying goes it is better to be thought a fool than to compile an email and hit send and remove all doubt. Yazmin Lalande however opted to remove all doubt with this typical, Paulbotesque screed: Continue reading

Well, Santorum Should Know …

Santorum says that New Jersey Governor is not a conservative Republican. Well, with a track record like Santorum’s, which is very non-conservative itself, he should know! Continue reading

On Drug Use And Why It Should Be Legal

Some liberals wants currently illicit drugs to be legal because they are unable to deal with a reality that offends their senses and want to use said drugs to escape the real world. Other liberals (sometimes pretending to be conservatives) believe that their fellow liberals should not be allowed to do these sorts of things and will fight against them day and night to prevent them from having their drugs of choice to put into their bodies. Continue reading

Be Careful, Ron Paul Is Right On Certain Things

As I have made it abundantly clear, Rep. Ron Paul, while nutty beyond all belief on certain things, is actually right on others. Although Ron Paul is not qualified to be President based on his nutty stances and his various hypocrisies, this is a lesson my fellow, self-professed, “conservatives” would do well to remember. Continue reading

Ron Paul’s Election Chances

It should not be said that Ron Paul could not beat President Obama if he were to be the GOP nominee for 2012. President Obama and his liberal cronies are screwing up so much and so often that a rock, if placed on the ballot, would have a 50/50 chance of winning. Continue reading

Libertarian Philosophy: A Primer

Libertarian philosophy is often summarized as the rights of one person ending when they smack another person in the nose. But such a summary overlooks the fact that the person in danger of being struck in the nose has the indisputable right to prevent themselves being so harmed. Libertarian philosophy prohibits even the threat, even if only implied, of one person striking another. Continue reading

Myth: Tea Party Is Against Payroll Tax Cut

Seems there is a myth that many of you believe. That myth is that Tea Partiers are against the payroll tax cut. This is about as stupid a claim as they come! Continue reading

The Liberal And The Conservative

A liberal is fueled by an unceasing desire to seek a seat at the levers and switches of power so that they might control the citizens and to have access to their fortune, labor and life and direct them to … Continue reading

Ron Paul’s Status As A Nut Job

Rep. Ron Paul (R-TX) is not a complete nut job. He is certainly right on many things. The problem is that he is off his rocker on just too many to ignore. Whether it is the needless racial (but not … Continue reading

Protesting A Bit Too Much He Doth

Mitt Romney is adamant that he is a “conservative” businessman while touting himself for President. That is all fine and good. His disposition as a businessman is not at issue. It is his disposition as a politician. And in that … Continue reading

Quick Thought For Today (December 10th, 2011)

One who does not take their own safety and security seriously and then becomes a victim of some wrong doing or another does bear some responsibility for their condition. Continue reading

Newt The Marxist?

George Will thinks Newt Gingrich would make a fine Marxist. I disagree with him. Newt is no conservative, but neither is he a Marxist. He is a dangerous blend of both who has developed an annoying talent for intellectualizing any … Continue reading

Quick Thought For Today (November 30th, 2011)

A man who works to better himself while not infringing upon the inalienable rights of others works to better the whole of society. Thus the pursuit of one’s own rational self interest is what is always best for any nation. Continue reading

Lumps Are Coming. Are You Ready For The Pain?

If the revenues to the federal government are only $2.4 to $2.6 trillion every year and the federal government spend $3.4 to $3.6 trillion dollars every year, that means, simply, $1 trillion in funny money going out every year. GDP is the sum of private consumption + gross investment + government spending + (exports ? imports). The GDP of the United States is approximately $14.5 trillion (2010 numbers). Continue reading

Mitt Romney’s “Conservative” Credentials

I often wonder if those who make excuses for Mitt Romney know how utterly unconvincing they are. I keep hearing the popular refrain that Mitt Romney is a real conservative who often had to govern in less than conservative ways … Continue reading

Quick Thought For Today (October 26th, 2011)

Just remember this. When it comes to Herman Cain, he was for TARP before he was somewhat, maybe against it … but only changed because he claimed he was fooled into thinking it was to be used in a way no one else who knows the ways of government thought it would be. Continue reading
