A week after trumpeting a stunning decrease of 30,000 new unemployment claims for the week, and getting caught not including all the data, the truth comes out. Today, for the week ending October 6th, new claims for unemployment jumped 46,000 (the missing 30,000 and then some) to come in at 388,000.
That means that new unemployment claims, like all previous months will exceed one million yet again. Yet we are to believe that when an economy only generates maybe 100,000 jobs a month that unemployment is going down? Must be that new math!
