California’s budget deficit has gone from $9.2 billion to $16 billion since January in what can only be considered an epic failure for Governor Moonbeam. Ironically Gov. Brown blames the same bureaucracy he has championed for years which is quite laughable. His belowed bureaucracy has stymied the economy and also held up proposed reforms.
The Democratic governor said the shortfall grew from $9.2 billion in January in part because tax collections have not come in as high as expected and the economy isn’t growing as fast as hoped for. The deficit has also risen because lawsuits and federal requirements have blocked billions of dollars in state cuts.
Hey, welcome to the world you helped to create!
And of course the Governor’s solution to all this includes … wait for it … wait for it … high taxes! Oh, of course it does! It always does!
