Senator Obama claimed that Super PACs were a “threat to democracy” while seeking the Presidency in 2008. Well, after shunning these big money groups, in a not surprising, hypocritical turn around, President Obama is now embracing them claiming that he must embrace these “threats to democracy” in order to win reelection.
Come on, you cannot expect consistency from this man. After all, this is the man that said President Bush’s $500 billion deficits were “unpatriotic”. Then he turned around after being elected and ran $1 trillion + deficits for every year he has been in office.
