Newt Gingrich is having a rendezvous with history. Unfortunately for him, it is not some great moment but more like the Titanic hitting the iceberg. His plethora of stupid statements and actions paint him as nothing more than a right leaning moderate who drifts in the wind like a fallen leaf. In my opinion, America cannot afford to have a president who caters to criminal aliens, lies about his record on handling the budget, flip flops on issues when his true feelings become unpalatable to the current electorate, supports amnesty for illegals and thinks that one line zingers are the mark of a great debater. Of course America cannot afford another four years of Obama either. Thus the quandary should Gingrich become the GOP’s nominee.
