Romney Parted With 27% Of His 2010 Income

There is a fake kerfuffle among the left over Mitt Romney paying “just” 14% of his income in taxes in 2010. What they fail to mention is that he donated another $3 million to charity. On his income of $21.7 million that amounts to him parting with 27% of his earnings. Did you do that?

Liberals hate this because they only got half of the money he parted with for their Big Government. A Big Government which gets bigger all the time. They wanted it all and then some. So they disregard Romney’s charitable ways. After all, in their mind “charity” comes only from the hand of government which knows best how to help people. And they see “charitable deductions” as nothing but a tax dodge by the rich.

Then of course there all all the hidden taxes Romney undoubtedly paid plus his state and local taxes. Add those all up and I guarantee you the amount of money he actually parted with exceeds 50%. But those and facts. And the facts are inconvenient.
