It should not be said that Ron Paul could not beat President Obama if he were to be the GOP nominee for 2012. President Obama and his liberal cronies are screwing up so much and so often that a rock, if placed on the ballot, would have a 50/50 chance of winning. There are enough people who will vote for whomever has the “R” next to their name just based on the horrid experience America has had with Mr. Obama that anyone who bears that moniker stands a chance.
Of course, whether or not Ron Paul, with his wacko isolationist ideology, blame America first for the problems of the world mentality and his hypocrisy on earmarks would be a “good” President would be another matter all together. It is a shame that a man who has a great many good ideas both fails to practice those good ideas and is so out in left field on a great many others thus, in my mind, making his wholly unfit for the office he seeks.
