Are You A “Special” Worker? If You Recently Worked For Polaris Industries and Robin Manufacturing You Are!

The federal government is spending well over a trillion dollars more than it is bringing in year after year.  The national debt is escalating and will be north of $20 trillion in a few short years.

So what is the Department of Labor doing?  Well, it is still out there selecting special and privileged classes of workers to give money too.  The Department has just sent $918,010 in the form of a National Emergency Grant to aid 325 laid off workers in Wisconsin.  This benefit turns out to be just about $2,825 per worker above and beyond standard unemployment benefits!

The workers, from Polaris Industries and Robin Manufacturing U.S.A. Inc., will get, thanks to this special money, training in “industry-related basic skills”, “entrepreneurial” skills and other services.

Uh, ok … so does someone want to explain to me how these workers don’t already have “industry-related basic skills”?  Maybe this is why they were fired?  And since when is it the government’s role to teach people how to be entrepreneurs?

Foolish people whine that there is nowhere in our budget to cut?  I say there is almost a million dollars right here that we could have saved!

If you are unemployed, and have not gotten your extra, special compensation above and beyond your standard benefits don’t you wish you were special like these people are?
