If We Stand Strong We Will Win

John Boehner is going soft.  He and many other Republicans, liberals that they are, are looking for an excuse to compromise with the Democrats, raise the debt limit, spend more money our grandchildren do not have and continue the ruination of America.

Speaker Boehner has not shown any ability to lead in the House.  Immediately after Harry Reid and the Senate refused to vote on Cut, Cap and Balance, a plan that in and of itself was the best one put forth to date but that still needed more work, he rolled over.  He immediately started to capitulate.

But when we look at history to date we see that the stronger conservatives stand, force the Republican Party to stand, the more the liberals capitulate.  President Obama, for example, has repeatedly moved to the right on his demands like his previous unwillingness to accept a short term debt deal.  Harry Reid, for example, is so spooked that after hundreds of days and several years of not wanting to put forth a budget plan even he is attempting to cobble something pathetic together which contains fantom cuts to spending he can pawn off as real.

Of course, the liberals moving to the right is like Stalin turning into Hitler.  They were both far leftists, just that Stalin was a communist while Hitler was a socialist.  Neither was good, but Hitler was definitely to the “right” of Stalin.

But the point is that as the deadline to get something done, albeit an artificial deadline set by liberals themselves to maintain their high spending ways, comes closer it is the left that is capitulating.  Sure it is slow.  But if we stand strong and hold out they will be left with no choice but to compromise.

Because if they do not?  Well, we win by default.  Because come August 3rd the government cannot spend more than it brings in anyway.  It is a win-win for America.
