Liberals, the non-thinking sorts that they are, often call the Republican Party the “Party of the Rich”. They like to run around claiming how Wall Street has the GOP bought and paid for thus, they say, you as a normal citizen must vote for Democrats.
But election year after election year the numbers tell the truth. The truth is that Wall Street actually donates huge sums to liberals like President Barack Obama.
OpenSecrets.org which tracks donations to all political candidates has a breakdown of Obama’s 2012 fundraising. Liberals will not like it!
Already bundlers linked to lawyers have brought in $6.1 million for Obama’s 2012 campaign. Donations from evil Wall Street investors (securities and investments) have totaled $7.2 million. Evil people in real estate, those liberals blame the 2008 financial collapse on, have given $2.3 million to Obama while “Miscellaneous Finance” related donors gave up $1.75 million to “The One’s” reelection.
Total up just those numbers and it is $17.35 million of Obama’s $86 million dollar second quarter haul. That’s 20% of his money coming directly from people liberals claim to hate and whom they claim are in the pockets of Republicans.
The lie will roll on because liberals like to keep telling it. But it is still a lie.
