Nelson Santiago, a TSA Agent in Florida, was busted this week taking an iPad from a passenger’s luggage at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport. Showing that airlines are capable of providing their own security, he was busted by an employee of Continental Airlines. Santiago reportedly stole over $50,000 of stuff and turned around to sell it while on duty without any other TSA agent noticing. Talk about an epic fail!
Upon his arrest, Santiago reportedly had only one question for authorities. He asked if the Casey Anthony jury was available for his trial because it was the only way he would stand a chance of being acquitted in the face of evidence beyond a reasonable doubt. An no, I will not stop making that joke about the Anthony jurors. Tough if you don’t like it.
