Another update on the race for who will be the GOP nominee for this year’s US Senate race in Alaska. With 98% of precincts now reporting, Joe Miller leads Lisa, no really government run health care isn’t necessarily a bad thing, Murkowski 51% to 49% (approximately 2,000 votes).
Since my last post and with an additional 21% of precincts reporting, Murkowski has gained just about 1,000 votes on Miller. So unless she overwhelmingly wins these final 2% of precincts and there are thousands of votes to be had, it looks like another RINO has been bagged.
Liberals and “moderates” are welling up with tears. The mainstream media is quickly rewriting their stories about how the Tea Party movement is irrelevant and that were based on Murkowski coasting to victory. Now they’ll ignore Alaska and talk about how McCain won walking away over Hayworth in Arizona.
