The news coverage of the federal government suing the State of Arizona over the new immigration law makes repeated pronouncements that it is the immigration law that is “controversial”. I disagree. The law is supported by a larger percentage of Americans than our President is. Therefore the proper headline when covering this story should be “Controversial President Obama sues Arizona over immigration law.”
