That Is One BIG Pork Chop!

The old saying goes that when a baby is ugly, very ugly, the parents would have to tie a pork chop around its neck just to get the dog to play with it. Now replace the baby with a car like the Chevy Volt and the pork chop with a boat load of government incentives. Continue reading

This Year’s October Surprise

If I told you I knew what was being planned as this year’s October Surprise designed to keep liberals in power throughout Washington would you believe me? Well, to be honest, I do not know for certain what this year’s “Surprise” will be but based on some repetitive reports I am getting a pretty good indication of at least one form that it may take. Continue reading

Desperate Times Call For Misleading Headlines

The headline from Reuters screams, “Home sales surge in June.” When that article crossed my desk Monday morning I didn’t bite however. Rather than believe the hype I actually read what the article actually had to say. The truth, even as given by the actual article, puts the lie to the headline. Continue reading

Geithner Doesn’t Believe …

Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner just doesn’t believe. That is how he justifies the things that he wants.

When asked what he thought a possible renewal of the last set of income tax cuts (for all Americans and not just the rich as the liberals claim) he said that he did not think they would or should be included in yet another “Stimulus” plan being proposed. He went on to add, “I don’t believe they will have a negative effect on growth.” Continue reading

More Unconstitutional Spending By The Department of Labor

I haven’t done one of these lists in a while, where I go through the Department of Labor’s own press releases and run down all the unconstitutional money they spend month after month. I want to get back in the habit of posting these wastes of money so here we go: Continue reading

Lindsey Graham: Portrait Of A Principled Idiot

I really did not want to write a second article in a one month about Senator Lindsey Graham considering he is from South Carolina and I am from Pennsylvania. But I must. He is forcing my hand. Continue reading

Governments derive their just powers from the consent of the governed

I want to start off this post with citing the Declaration of Independence and a clause that drives modern day liberals absolutely batty. I will explain why in a little bit. Continue reading

Why Shirley Sherrod Deserved To Be Fired

Wow, a lot of people are hedging over the whole Shirley Sherrod fiasco right now. For the record my stance was that she should not have been fired because of her admission that at one time she was a racist. Are we clear on that? Continue reading

FCC Rule Struck

Every now and again a court stands up to our out of control federal government. Such was the case when a three judge panel in New York recently rapped the knuckles of the FCC over their rule regarding expletives uttered on live broadcasts off the cuff. The so-called “unscripted” expletives have long been a source of contention for people who think that the federal government has somewhere, but they are not quite sure where, in the Constitution the power to regulate speech. Continue reading

Just A Suggestion – You Might Want To READ Things I write Before Criticizing Me

The following email is from Terry P. in Massachusetts. I present it to you because it shows how shallow and vacuous liberals are. Continue reading

Onorato, Not The Democrat’s Democrat?

Here in Pennsylvania we are getting ready to elect a new governor. Our current governor, Ed Rendell, is term limited out. Although rumors are that he will have a nice cushy job in President Obama’s Administration waiting for him at the end of his reign which has seen Pennsylvania continue to lumber along without much progress. The only saving graces for the Commonwealth have been the high taxes in New York and New Jersey have made even Pennsylvania look good to people in those areas and that the Marcellus Shale formation has been able to help boost our economy from complete disaster. None of these things of course are Ed Rendell’s doing. Continue reading

When Is A Tax Not A Tax?

A tax is not a tax when Obama says it is not a tax. A tax is a tax when Obama says that it is. And at any time a tax that was not a tax can become a tax that is a tax! Confused? You should be. Continue reading

Glenn Beck Wins Out In American Conservative Daily Poll

At American Conservative Daily the question was asked, “Who is your favorite conservative radio talk show host?” The answer given most often? Glenn Beck. Sorry Rush. Continue reading

ID-10T And PEBKAC Errors To Blame In Toyota Acceleration Problems

Imagine if you will, a bunch of people claim to have a car that has a problem. For the sake of argument we will call this problem “unintended acceleration” where the car takes off like a bat out of Hell for no conceivable reason. And imagine if you will that the company who makes these cars is in direct competition with car manufacturers partially owned and invested in by the federal government. For the sake of argument we will call these companies owned by the government GM and Chrysler and the company having this “problem” Toyota. Continue reading

Climate Quacks Adopt Al Gore Strategy

Al Gore used to do all sorts of media appearances and interviews over his theory of man made global warming. Then, as time went on, he started getting asked more and more serious questions about his religion and many scientists started to put together rebuttals seeking comments. Continue reading

Those Extremist Gun Grabbing Liberals

President Obama and all liberals like to call anyone that isn’t a liberal and who doesn’t abide by their capricious and arbitrary governing style that violates inalienable rights as “extreme.” But when we look at the polls as to what people actually think about most issues, the people of America line up solidly against liberal ideas and their repeated violations of the Constitution. Continue reading

Obama Rushes To Reid’s Side

Senator Harry Reid is in deep trouble in Nevada as the midterm elections loom. He has been trailing Republican Sharron Angle in poll after poll and the people of the State have repeatedly stated in other polls that they have no confidence in his ability to lead and represent the people. So in comes President Obama, the candidate killer. President Obama has taken to the stump for a lot of candidates lately and many of them wind up crashing and burning as he brings his shadow over their campaigns. Continue reading

Sestak, With Talking Points In Hand, Proves Himself Not Ready For Prime Time

Joe Sestak is pretty much your typical moonbat liberal. If a bill regulates something and acts beyond the Constitutional powers granted to Congress he is pretty much for said bill. Mr. Sestak, a current Congressman for Pennsylvania, is trying hard to gain the Senate seat held currently by Snarlin Arlen Specter the Defector who has being sent into forced retirement come next year. Continue reading

Florida Leans Conservative Rejects Moderation and Liberalism

Charlie Crist, who swore up and down that he would not run as an independent if Republicans rejected him during the primary, is of course now running as an “independent”. Crist only made the promise he did because he did not believe the polls showing him losing to Marco Rubio. Of course once he did lose to Rubio everything changed and off went Crist to do what he would not do by his own words. Continue reading
