It Apparently It Still Takes A Village
Hillary Clinton once told us that it takes a village to raise a child and it is a basic truth for liberals that they have never been adverse to forcing the village to take care of anyone else that they determine needs help either. After all, they cannot be too bothered to do it themselves. They might break a nail or mess up their hair. This story in the New York Times pretty much sums up the intelligence of most people in the federal government. See, the feds thought that they would be nice and spend tax payer dollars on another welfare program to bail people out who could not make their monthly mortgage payments. The program encouraged lenders to rework the terms of the loans. But as has been previously reported a majority of those who participated still fell back into default. Continue reading
