» How Is That Government Run Health Care Working?

I find it absolutely laughable that today there is actually a serious debate, at least among the left, about how we need desperately a socialized, government controlled medicine system to cover the nebulous uninsured. I find it odd because we already have so much socialized medicine in America and we can see it failing all around us. Yes, it is true.

» Where Was All The Outrage At Chevy?

I own a Chevy HHR. It is a 2006. In 2008 I got a safety recall notice from the company telling me how I needed to bring in my immediately to have it fitted with new piece of header trim designed to make the car compliant with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards. I took the car in.

» Five Unthinkable Options (Part 3 of 5)

This week it is time to consider unthinkable option number three with regards to the federal budget. Previously we have discussed unthinkable option number one, do nothing and keep spending more than we bring in, and unthinkable option number two, raise taxes to make up the differences between revenues and expenditures.

» DIE RINO DIE!

Rep. Anh Cao (R) from New Orleans is reaping what he has sown. Since acting like the RINO he is and voting for the unconstitutional health care reform bill in the House Mr. Cao’s funds are dwindling and donors are snapping shut the wallet according to an AP report.

» The More McCain Talks The Dumber I Know He Is

Right now I am preparing myself for the inevitable onslaught of angry emails from indignant McCain supporters who just hate how I point out how utterly stupid and unqualified to be a Senator this man is. These emails ignore the truth of the mater and the facts that I discuss and almost always resort to the final claim that because he served in the military and served as a POW that he deserves more respect than I give him. I know the claim is vacuous and put forth by sophomoric types that cannot legitimately defend a man who has been one of the biggest destroyers of our Republic. But I am ready for them none-the-less.

» Yo-Yo Obama

He’s up … he’s down … he’s a yo-yo. That’s what Obama is when it comes to his Presidential Approval Index. I personally don’t get it as Obama’s “approval rating” index rises and falls without much real rhyme or reason swinging by 7-10% points. It is almost as if what I have repeatedly said is actually true – despite the hate mail from Obamatons that I get every time I say it. That is that people really want to like Obama as if drown in by some unseen force but get repelled almost just as fast by the fact that he is so far to the left that he makes FDR look like a moderate.

» But They Are Our Crooks

Once again we see that Americans think that the problem is someone else and place blame away from their own feet. The New York Post reports that a new poll shows that just 34% of Americans think that members of the House and Senate, generically, deserve to be reelected. But as usual, there is a disconnect between this and the results of those that represent them individually.

» Five Unthinkable Options (Part 2 of 5)

The first unthinkable option, as I mentioned at the end of last week’s article, is to sit back, do nothing different, keep on letting the federal government spend more than it brings in, enjoy the ride and hope like hell that you are one of the lucky ones to die the day before everything goes kablooie leaving a huge mess for our posterity.

» Greece On The Verge

Greece is a great case study in what happens when you embrace liberalism – spending all sorts of money you don’t have on every want and desire of those with political clout and to buy votes. Greece is drowning in red ink and unfortunately for that country’s people, they have nothing to offer the rest of the world to help stave off collapse. See, we in the United States are still able to find people, although they are farther and fewer between these days, willing to buy our debt. But Greece, well, they are quite frankly screwed.
