How Is That Government Run Health Care Working?

I find it absolutely laughable that today there is actually a serious debate, at least among the left, about how we need desperately a socialized, government controlled medicine system to cover the nebulous uninsured. I find it odd because we already have so much socialized medicine in America and we can see it failing all around us. Yes, it is true. Continue reading

Where Was All The Outrage At Chevy?

I own a Chevy HHR. It is a 2006. In 2008 I got a safety recall notice from the company telling me how I needed to bring in my immediately to have it fitted with new piece of header trim designed to make the car compliant with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards. I took the car in. Continue reading

Five Unthinkable Options (Part 3 of 5)

This week it is time to consider unthinkable option number three with regards to the federal budget. Previously we have discussed unthinkable option number one, do nothing and keep spending more than we bring in, and unthinkable option number two, raise taxes to make up the differences between revenues and expenditures. Continue reading

DIE RINO DIE!

Rep. Anh Cao (R) from New Orleans is reaping what he has sown. Since acting like the RINO he is and voting for the unconstitutional health care reform bill in the House Mr. Cao’s funds are dwindling and donors are snapping shut the wallet according to an AP report. Continue reading

The More McCain Talks The Dumber I Know He Is

Right now I am preparing myself for the inevitable onslaught of angry emails from indignant McCain supporters who just hate how I point out how utterly stupid and unqualified to be a Senator this man is. These emails ignore the truth of the mater and the facts that I discuss and almost always resort to the final claim that because he served in the military and served as a POW that he deserves more respect than I give him. I know the claim is vacuous and put forth by sophomoric types that cannot legitimately defend a man who has been one of the biggest destroyers of our Republic. But I am ready for them none-the-less. Yo-Yo Obama

He’s up … he’s down … he’s a yo-yo. That’s what Obama is when it comes to his Presidential Approval Index. I personally don’t get it as Obama’s “approval rating” index rises and falls without much real rhyme or reason swinging by 7-10% points. It is almost as if what I have repeatedly said is actually true – despite the hate mail from Obamatons that I get every time I say it. That is that people really want to like Obama as if drown in by some unseen force but get repelled almost just as fast by the fact that he is so far to the left that he makes FDR look like a moderate. Continue reading

But They Are Our Crooks

Once again we see that Americans think that the problem is someone else and place blame away from their own feet. The New York Post reports that a new poll shows that just 34% of Americans think that members of the House and Senate, generically, deserve to be reelected. But as usual, there is a disconnect between this and the results of those that represent them individually. Continue reading

Five Unthinkable Options (Part 2 of 5)

The first unthinkable option, as I mentioned at the end of last week’s article, is to sit back, do nothing different, keep on letting the federal government spend more than it brings in, enjoy the ride and hope like hell that you are one of the lucky ones to die the day before everything goes kablooie leaving a huge mess for our posterity. Continue reading

Greece On The Verge

Greece is a great case study in what happens when you embrace liberalism – spending all sorts of money you don’t have on every want and desire of those with political clout and to buy votes. Greece is drowning in red ink and unfortunately for that country’s people, they have nothing to offer the rest of the world to help stave off collapse. See, we in the United States are still able to find people, although they are farther and fewer between these days, willing to buy our debt. But Greece, well, they are quite frankly screwed. Poor, Delusional Alren Specter

Everyone knows that my opinion of Senator Arlen Specter is not at all good. His intelligence is on par with that of a ripe tomato and, well to be honest, I believe that the ripe tomato would better serve the citizens of Pennsylvania. To some that may sound harsh but seriously, the man is dimmer than a burned out light bulb. How he managed to get elected to the Senate for so many years is one of the great mysteries of the universe. Continue reading

General Jim Jones The Type of General That Makes You Want To Run Away From Military Service

Almost immediately after General Jim Jones, Barack Obama’s point man from the military who the President sends out to face questions from the press, appeared on Fox New Sunday today and once again lamented that the, “the surge [in Iraq] is a tactic, not a strategy,” I began getting emails from many people in the military that I converse with regularly. Those people range from current and former enlisted men to officers and even a retired General who repeatedly has some of the harshest things to say about the Obama administration. Continue reading

Are Sea Levels Really Rising?

I am having so much fun poking the Warmongers with my big stick as of late, and generating a ton of hate mail from them too for daring to speak the truth, that I thought it was time to tackle another one of their claims. That claim is that global sea levels are rising so fast that coastal regions will soon be under water and islands will soon begin disappearing. Continue reading

Ron Reagan Tries To Tell Everyone What His Father Would Have Thought

Ron Reagan, the biological son of former President Ronald Reagan, is the last person that anyone would ask what his father thought about political going ons. Ron is a wacky liberal and wouldn’t know his father’s thoughts if the Gipper came back from the grave and told him point blank what they were. Ron would still go out and tell the world the exact opposite. Asking a flaming liberal like Ron what President Reagan would have thought is like asking an insane person to explain sanity. It just is not going to happen. Continue reading

Awwwww … Poor Baby How Do You Like The Medicine?

The funniest thing in the world is to listen to liberals whine about other people doing what they have done for years. For the better parts of the past three decades Democrats in Congress have held up the nominees of Republican Presidents in the Senate. And for all those years it was an ok thing to do even though each and every one of those hold ups were ideological in nature. While the nominees may not have been what would be deemed “conservative,” they were by enlarge not far enough to the left for liberals so they obstructed any time they thought they could get away with it. Continue reading

Five Percent Of Americans Trying To Wake Up

As someone that watches the daily tracking polls from Rasmussen there appears to be a trend arising. When it comes to Obama supporters there looks to be about, according to the polls, 44% of Americansthat are still taking the Obama Kool Aid willingly. While only 27% (those that strongly approve) take their recommended dose three times a day, the balance are down to about a once daily shot. But the interesting thing is that 5% of Americans that seem like they are eagerly trying to wean themselves off the juice but just having a hard time kicking the habit. Continue reading

President Obama Generously Willing To Accept Half of His Socialist Plans

Progressives like President Obama are jokes. To a man and woman, those on the left think we are stupid. They will try to get their way piecemeal if they cannot do it whole hog. And in the process they think they are being generous. Continue reading

Phoenix To Tax People Simply For Living

Liberals get really desperate when it comes to all the promises they have made but cannot pay for. It gets so bad in places like Phoenix that that city is now preparing to tax people just for living and doing what they need to do in order to live. According to azcentral.com the City Council is getting ready to slap a 2% tax on food. Continue reading
