Many Americans were shocked this morning to hear comments from Massachusetts Rep. Barney Frank that amounted to a plea that the Congress start over on the whole Obamacare ordeal. Frank warned his fellow liberals that they, “must rule out any effort to pass a health care bill if the Massachusetts election had not happened.”
Before you get all giddy and think that Rep. Frank has had an epiphany, think again. Barney Frank is actually scared out of his wits and for good reason. Just look at the electoral map from the special election and you can see that Frank’s district went mostly red and many of those districts are not red by a small margin. Many of them broke 2:1 for Brown.

Frank isn’t warning that it is time to hit the reset button on negotiations for any other reason than he is afraid in November that he will be out of office and, perish the thought, required to actually get a job.
