It is funny how I get castigated by know-nothings who think they are know-it-alls. For a year I have been saying that TARP, which President Obama voted for when he was a Senator and thus cannot lay the blame for its spending solely at his predecessor’s feet, did nothing of real importance.

Liberal moonbat Rep. Joe Barton has made a pathetic career of attacking the NCAA and the BCS and threatening to impose, unconstitutionally of course, restrictions on them because he doesn’t like the way they decide who the Division I College Football champion is. As I have said before, I am no fan of the BCS but that does not mean I want to see the federal government, any branch of it, over step its bounds of limited power and force them into doing something they don’t want to. No one’s rights are being infringed upon by the BCS system so the government should have no say.

Senator Arlen Specter does what liberals always do when they talk too much; they prove that they don’t have a shred of a clue. By now Mr. Specter’s little tussle with Rep. Michele Bachmann has been the topic of much scorn.

Liberals scoff at the concept of FOX News. It is just another disconnect they have from average people I guess because the ratings continue to show that FOX News trounces the competition.

A few years ago, then Democratic Party candidate Jason Altmire won election to the U.S. House of Representatives by running a campaign just conservative enough to beat out the Republican incumbent in his district, Rep. Melissa Hart. He didn’t try to hard to hide that he really did not have that much of a problem with big government and unconstitutional spending. But he pandered just enough to both the reasonable American public and the hard core left of his own party to win.

It is a sad commentary on the pathetic lives of some shallow human beings when they spend their time worrying about what is on the costume of a figure skater. But that is exactly what some pathetic group called Friends of Animals has done by focusing on U.S. figure skater Johnny Weir and his use of fox fur for one of his costumes.

The far left moonbats in the Democratic Party are still at it. They are still trying to find ways to limit basic rights all Americans are supposed to have and which the Constitution strictly prohibits them from interfering with. Rep. Grayson, the moonbat from Florida who has problems keeping his ignorant mouth shut as well [...]

Americans are clearly torn these days. Majorities of Americans call for the federal government to tax less and provide fewer services. And on top of that they want government to reduce its massive deficits. The problem is that the majority of what the government spends money on are the ominous third rails of politics. I [...]

I was channel surfing last Wednesday night when I saw Frank Luntz on FOX News. He had with him one of his focus groups and was asking them questions about the Massachusetts special election where Scott Brown, a Republican, rocked the very blue state to its Birkenstocks.

Recently I mused about whether or not liberals, and the Democratic Party they call home, have any popular ideas whatsoever on my blog. Seems as though every time a poll is taken on the specifics of what they want to do, not necessarily the overall idea, they are met with a wall of public opposition.
