DUH! TARP Solved Nothing!

It is funny how I get castigated by know-nothings who think they are know-it-alls. For a year I have been saying that TARP, which President Obama voted for when he was a Senator and thus cannot lay the blame for its spending solely at his predecessor’s feet, did nothing of real importance. Continue reading

In Need Of A Distraction Obama To Tackle BCS

Liberal moonbat Rep. Joe Barton has made a pathetic career of attacking the NCAA and the BCS and threatening to impose, unconstitutionally of course, restrictions on them because he doesn’t like the way they decide who the Division I College Football champion is. As I have said before, I am no fan of the BCS but that does not mean I want to see the federal government, any branch of it, over step its bounds of limited power and force them into doing something they don’t want to. No one’s rights are being infringed upon by the BCS system so the government should have no say. Continue reading

Prosperity Floweth Not From Bills And Washington

Senator Arlen Specter does what liberals always do when they talk too much; they prove that they don’t have a shred of a clue. By now Mr. Specter’s little tussle with Rep. Michele Bachmann has been the topic of much scorn. Continue reading

FOX Continues To Rule The Henhouse

Liberals scoff at the concept of FOX News. It is just another disconnect they have from average people I guess because the ratings continue to show that FOX News trounces the competition. Continue reading

Rep. Altmire In A Political No-Man’s-Land

A few years ago, then Democratic Party candidate Jason Altmire won election to the U.S. House of Representatives by running a campaign just conservative enough to beat out the Republican incumbent in his district, Rep. Melissa Hart. He didn’t try to hard to hide that he really did not have that much of a problem with big government and unconstitutional spending. But he pandered just enough to both the reasonable American public and the hard core left of his own party to win. Continue reading

Olympian Tells Animal Rights Wackos To Pound Salt

It is a sad commentary on the pathetic lives of some shallow human beings when they spend their time worrying about what is on the costume of a figure skater. But that is exactly what some pathetic group called Friends of Animals has done by focusing on U.S. figure skater Johnny Weir and his use of fox fur for one of his costumes. Continue reading

Conyers Joins Grayson In Trying To Prohibit Free Speech

The far left moonbats in the Democratic Party are still at it. They are still trying to find ways to limit basic rights all Americans are supposed to have and which the Constitution strictly prohibits them from interfering with. Rep. Grayson, the moonbat from Florida who has problems keeping his ignorant mouth shut as well [...] Continue reading

Unthinkable Solutions

Americans are clearly torn these days. Majorities of Americans call for the federal government to tax less and provide fewer services. And on top of that they want government to reduce its massive deficits. The problem is that the majority of what the government spends money on are the ominous third rails of politics. I [...] Continue reading

Denial Ain’t Just A River In Massachusetts

I was channel surfing last Wednesday night when I saw Frank Luntz on FOX News. He had with him one of his focus groups and was asking them questions about the Massachusetts special election where Scott Brown, a Republican, rocked the very blue state to its Birkenstocks. Continue reading

Once Again Liberals On THe Wrong Side of Public Opinion

Recently I mused about whether or not liberals, and the Democratic Party they call home, have any popular ideas whatsoever on my blog. Seems as though every time a poll is taken on the specifics of what they want to do, not necessarily the overall idea, they are met with a wall of public opposition. Continue reading

From George Bush To Computers Obama Administration Has No Shortage Of Excuses

According to Peter Orszag, an Obama crony, the reason why our government is inefficient and ineffective is because of the hardware the bureaucrats are forced to labor with which is outdated. Ian Swanson reports this on TheHill.com. Continue reading

Specter Ain’t No Lady, Go Ahead And Hit Him Hard!

Senator Snarlin Benedict Arlen Specter is trying to figure out where it all went wrong. This week he made an ass of himself while telling Rep. Michele Bachmann to, “act like a lady,” when he tried to tell her in an on air scuffle that she could not have voted for “prosperity” because prosperity wasn’t a bill! As if prosperity flows from bills in Washington! Continue reading

RINOs Still Looking Pretty In 2010

Oh you die hard Republicans who are Republicans first and everything else second wonder why I criticize the Republican Party and their candidates and their voter’s willingness to do the right thing and utimately worry about the Party? You really really wonder these things? Honestly? Continue reading

So Sad … Universal Health Care Dies And Few Care

Actually, that title is probably a little misleading. Lots of people cared that it died and are quite happy. But few people are really broken up about it. Certainly not the vast majority of Americans that are happy with our semi-private system that struggles every day to work around the bureaucratic red tape and regulations trying to strangle it out of existence. And certainly not the many Americans that still think the Constitution matters and who don’t want a totalitarian leftist state micromanaging our lives. Continue reading

Is The Haitian Bounce Over?

President Obama got a slight bounce in his approval ratings following the Haitian earthquake and his actions to help the people of that island nation who, I would say, would not be in such a situation if they had a little more liberty in their lives. The death and damage was all attributable to the poverty the Haitian people experience because they simply are not free enough to advance their own conditions. I say this because large earthquakes hit other regions like Los Angeles and while there is damage and death it is no where on the scale like we saw in Haiti. Continue reading

Praise for Scott Brown Being Reserved

Scott Brown’s election to one of Massachusetts’ Senate seats was a foregone conclusion to anyone watching the polls. Martha Coakley did not stand a chance on Election Day. She was a dead woman walking for trying to sugar coat her support of unpopular policies. No number of buses packed with ACORN bought voters or SEIU members could have saved her from her own incompetence. Continue reading

DUH DUH DUHHHHH! Captain Chaos!

Anyone who ever watched the movie Cannonball Run knows the character Captain Chaos, the bumbling superhero alter ego to Dom Dom Deluise’s character, Victor Prinzim, in the movie. Today we have a new Captain Chaos by the looks of things. And he isn’t a lovable, bumbling do-gooder either. No, today’s Captain Chaos is none other than President Barack Obama, liberal extraordinaire. Continue reading

Do Liberals Have Any Popular Ideas?

Day in and day out, liberals tell us all about their ideas. Recycled from nearly a hundred years of failed liberal policies tried, tried and tried again only to fail every time, they have absolutely no shortage of ideas to hurl at the American public. Continue reading

Barney Frank Is Scared Out Of His Wits

Many Americans were shocked this morning to hear comments from Massachusetts Rep. Barney Frank that amounted to his plea that the Congress start over on the whole Obamacare ordeal. Frank warned his fellow liberals that they, “must rule out any effort to pass a health care bill if the Massachusetts election had not happened.” Continue reading

Scott Brown Up? Preliminary Reports From Massachusetts

Please understand, what I am about to share I cannot confirm. It is just a tidbit.
So far this morning I have received two separate emails from two different people who claim to be on the ground in Massachusetts who both claim to have information as to what is happening at the polls so far [...] Continue reading
