President Obama Loses Support Of Hugo Chavez

Hugo Chavez just cannot help himself. He needs to hate the President of the United States so badly that who that President is does not matter. Yes, even if that man is President Obama who agrees with Chavez more than he disagrees when it comes to economic policy.

Oh sure, protest that comparison if you like, but both have moved to take control of domestic companies and bring them under government control. Chavez has outright seized them. Obama has tried to be more subtle; first by “giving” banks and auto makers loads of cash and then trying to manipulate them because of their federal funding and second by increasing regulation on companies to make them do what Washington wants.

Still, that is not enough to keep Hugo in Obama’s camp it seems. After proclaiming and Copenhagen that sulfur still lingered even though Obama was now President, Chavez is once again criticizing the man that was supposed to make thugs like this like us again.

In his New Year’s message, Hugo Chavez chastised President Obama for not ending U.S. “imperialism” in Iraq and Afghanistan. Stating that fighting terrorists and their state sponsors is now “imperialism” I suppose is I guess logical to a mind like Chavez’s.

Chavez also showed that the facts surrounding “man made Climate Change” (formerly “man made Global Warming,” formerly man made Global Cooling) are not about to stop him from promoting the cockamamie theory as true. He again railed against evil Capitalists that are perpetuating “ecocide.” All while his socialist policies are thrusting Venezuelans into deeper and deeper poverty.

With Iran thumbing its nose at the United States and continuing to talk like they really want a jihad, President Obama’s attempts to appease the world are appearing to fail.

No surprise here.
