The joke is as follows …
A man walks up to a woman in a bar and asks her bluntly, “My dear, would you sleep with me for a million dollars?”
She replies after looking him over and finding him not an objectionable looking fellow, “Of course.”
He then smiles and asks, “Would you sleep with me for twenty dollars?”
The woman gets a horrified look on her face and then asks indignantly, “What kind of a woman do you think I am?”
The man points out, “I think we have already established that. We are now just negotiating the price.”
That’s right, she was a whore. Congress, whether you want to admit it or not is a bunch of whores too. Senator Mary Landrieu was just one recent example of this. Her price, as she proudly stated on the floor of the Senate, in order to support socialized medicine was about $300 million dollars. She was against the bill BEFORE getting those perks so spare me the outrage over calling her a whore.
Now we have another whore. This time it is Senator Ben Nelson of Nebraska who has now committed to voting in favor of the unconstitutional health care bill sitting before the Senate according to the Washington Times. As the article states:
Nelson also secured favors for his home state and to benefit different factions of the health-insurance industry.
The only thing I could not find in the article was what price in terms of dollars was paid to get Ben Nelson into bed.
Like it or not he is a whore. And he is whoring himself out in order to destroy liberty.
