Ben Smith at Politico has an interesting tidbit in that according to a recent poll where respondents were given the choice of having George W. Bush as President or Obama in the roll of cheif executive, the current President is only favored by a slim 6% over the former president often vilified by the left as the “worst President ever.” Excluding FDR, Woodrow Wilson, Bill Clinton, Jimmy Carter, LBJ, George H.W. Bush and now President Obama … ok … maybe.
No, seriously. In the poll 44% said they wanted Bush back and just 50% said they preferred Obama. That’s down 3% from Obama’s election night victory percentage and certainly a major uptick for Bush who, after years of lies and beatings from the left, vacated the office with approval ratings in the mid 30s.
Wow, so Obama is only slightly more preferred than a man the left spent eight long years berating and lying about? Not good. Of course everyone knows that I had major disagreements with President Bush and am not an apologist for him but DAAAAAAAAMMMMMMMMN Obama! You not lookin so good now huh?
