Rasmussen has an eye opening poll out in which in a three party race the right of center parties gain a plurality. The Democratic Party polls at just 36% but more conservative parties and movements muster 41%. The problem? Well, the fictitious “Tea Party” out polls the GOP!
23% polled selected the Tea Party while just 18% said they wanted the Republican Party.
Here is why that is important. It is important because the moderates in the Republican Party, with all their quazi socialist programs, have been telling the conservatives, standing for fiscal discipline and liberty, to suck it up and join them because we needed them to win. Of course that was always bunk and I personally never abided by it.
But what we see here in clear numbers that it is that the RINOs that are a distinct minority. This shows that the RINOs actually need the conservatives, the tea partiers, to maintain any presence at the table and not, as they have claimed for years, the other way around.
It is the conservative base that drives the center right as of the moment and we always have because we have always been a majority among the Republicans. So to the Republicans, the message is clear. Drop you socialist tendencies and jettison baggage like Senators McCain and Lindsay Graham and join us or die. Because without us you are nothing and you will wither and turn to dust.
