Oooooo … I wonder if the 9/11 Truthers are going to have a field day with President Obama like they did with the former President? Eh, probably not so much. I’ve talked to a lot of these kooks over the years since the 9/11 attacks and the vast majority of them are so liberal they literally drip with socialist tendencies and would love most of what President Obama has vowed to do.

Hugo Chavez just cannot help himself. He needs to hate the President of the United States so badly that who that President is does not matter. Yes, even if that man is President Obama who agrees with Chavez more than he disagrees when it comes to economic policy.

Senator Ben Nelson, the latest Democratic Party Whore to sell his vote on Obamacare, doesn’t have to stand for reelection until 2012. Perhaps he is hoping that the average attention span and memory of the Nebraska voter is about the same as a gold fish and that they will forget about his shenanigans in Congress. Hey, that strategy has worked for politicians for years so maybe he is right.

I don’t care how much you liked what President Obama had to say about terrorism yesterday. I don’t care how strong you thought he sounded. I don’t care how well you thought he presented himself when he finally was able to bring himself out of hiding in Hawaii. The facts are that Obama is still Obama and has always tried to say the right things to get support, but what he has actually done is what is important.

I just want to make sure that everyone is clear on something very important. After Richard Reid tried to blow an airplane with a “shoe bomb” we were all then required to take off our shoes and put them through the x-ray at airport security. Well, now that another maniacal Muslim Terrorist has tried to blow up a plane, this time with a bomb hidden in his underwear, I WILL NOT take off my underwear and put them through security too.

Gift cards piss me off more and more each year at Christmas because I firmly believe that people giving them think that they are really giving a gift to friends and family members. It used to be that when you did not know what to give someone and you really wanted to give them something you put a couple dollars in a card and wished them a Merry Christmas. Then along came gift cards which are often store specific and if not cost extra pennies to procure (like Visa Gift Cards) for the privilege of being able to give them.

It wasn’t all that long ago that President Obama smugly gave himself a “B+” for his first year in office. It was a laughable assertion from a man who has trashed the very Constitution of these United States. Sorry libs, that’s the truth. So little that Obama has done is even within his power that it is laughable that he would even claim to give himself such a lofty grade.

Liberals like President Barack Obama just do not get that they are wrong. That is why they keep banging their heads against the same brick walls over and over. When the people of a nation allow this to continue it eventually destroys the nation itself. Countries that have embraced liberalism have always failed. Some have taken longer than others and some have continued to hang on as the tyrants that run them have been able to kill or imprison enough rational people to make that sad reality continue.

I have always voted for people based on their character and ideas and not the color of their skin. More and more I am beginning to think that many Americans don’t agree with me on that philosophy and that so many pulled the lever for Barack Obama for the simple reason of his skin color. Yeah, I know, a lot of people that I talk to who voted for Obama claimed to have been swayed to vote for him because of his “ideas” that he spoke about during the campaign but I don’t buy it from these folks because I spent good portions of my time giving them the truth about what Obama believed and not what he claimed to believe.
