Gift cards piss me off more and more each year at Christmas because I firmly believe that people giving them think that they are really giving a gift to friends and family members. It used to be that when you did not know what to give someone and you really wanted to give them something you put a couple dollars in a card and wished them a Merry Christmas. I have always voted for people based on their character and ideas and not the color of their skin. More and more I am beginning to think that many Americans don’t agree with me on that philosophy and that so many pulled the lever for Barack Obama for the simple reason of his skin color. Rep. Parker Griffith (D) is not going to get much media play for his actions. So I think. Why? Because he is switching parties and unlike when Senator Snarlin’ Benedict Arlen Specter (who had always been a liberal wacko and Democrat masquerading as a Republican) his switch does not help with the standard liberal media line. See when a liberal RINO like Specter switches parties, after realizing Republicans in Pennsylvania were not going to elect him in another primary, it is front page news because the story is about the Democrats gaining more power. It is so very interesting to watch polls on President Obama’s approval ratings either as a whole or on individual issues. After he won election so many Americans ignored the truth about what he stood for, what he planned to do and even the very words from his own mouth when caught in candid moments outside of debates where he tried oh so hard to paint himself as some sort of centrist.
