Boy, that President of ours really knows how to make the tough decisions doesn’t he? Yeah … and if you believe that I have a bridge in Brooklyn and some ocean front property in Montana to sell you. Sure when it comes to taking on freedom loving Americans and coddling terrorists and tyrants he is quick to act lickety-split! He cannot wait to act!

As the months drag on since Obama’s #1 guy Gen. McChrystal has asked for more troops, the President continues to diddle on Afghanistan. He hates it when people make such comparisons, but what else do you call it? Especially now that with four more proposals on the table, all prepared by people the President supposedly trusts (otherwise they wouldn’t be preparing them), he has rejected them all. These are, I stress again, proposals from his own, hand picked foreign policy and national security team!

Apparently President Obama is not happy about adding any new troops to the region at all to fight the war he himself said was the real place we should be fighting. Now, he apparently doesn’t want to fight in Afghanistan either as he has rejected all levels of new troops from 20,000 to the originally requested 40,000.

And the days drag on.

There is no leadership in Washington and the Community Organizer In Chief is proving wholly incapable of leading our soldiers. But he said it himself, that he was uncomfortable with victory. And that unease is hurting our troops.

Leaders do not micromanage. They put people in charge that they trust and tell them to get the job done. Obama puts people in charge and then second, triple and quadruple guesses them.

A legitimate military commander would have immediately granted at least a partial number of the troops his own, hand picked, General was requesting just to get boots on the ground while he looks at all the data. That is, if he really trusted him. Instead we have a man who cannot make a decision and the troops and the people of Afghanistan are suffering for it.

Well, at least Obama has succeeded at something. He has succeeded at bringing misery to a great many people.

And the terrorists laugh.
