Reults Are In … Chicago Should NOT Have Been A Potential Olympic Site!
American Conservative Daily asked its readers, “Do you think that Chicago, with its high crime and murder rate, was a good choice to even nominate as a host city for an Olympic Games?” The results were lopsided and predictable.
90% of visitors said, “No.” Just 6% said, “Yes,” and 4% had, “No Opinon.” (polls archive)
The entire bid came crashing down, as you will recall, when President Obama dropped everything to fly to Denmark to try to secure the Olympics for his home city. But the committee rejected the dysfunctional city in the very first round and by an overwhelming margin leaving Obama with egg on his face and the corrupt politicians from the Chicago machine unable to exploit the Games to line their own pockets.
Apparently the American people tend to agree that Chicago was not worthy as well.
