Will It Really Matter? Democrats Continue To Yield Ground To Republicans

When Republicans are more trusted than liberal Democrats on health care something is amiss. Oh, something is not amiss when it comes to who has the better ideas, not the right ideas mind you but definitely better ideas, there is no doubt that it is the Republicans. But so many Americans buy into the Democrats and their nanny state principles of “free,” “free” and “free” and grasping for more, more and more of what other people have and that they have not been able to freely convince those others of simply giving to them that it is amazing to see the Republicans take such a lead with this sort of attitude so prevalent in our society.

You Can Learn A Lot From A Dummy(ocrat)

In the 1980s the United States Department of Transportation decided that somewhere in the Constitution they had the power to use tax payer dollars to fund PSAs featuring two crash test dummies, Vince and Larry, with the purpose of convincing American to buckle up while in their cars. The campaigns slogan was, “You can learn a lot from a Dummy.” Well, it is true, you can learn a lot from a Dummy be they plastic or a member of Congress. Continue reading

Health Insurance/Care Reform – Simple And Effective

No matter how many times I say that the answer to the “health care problems” in America these days is to get government out of the way, I still get the talking point by talking point emails from liberals claiming that I am not offering any solutions to the problem and just tearing down their efforts at utopia. So I thought that I would make this so simple that even a liberal dullard could understand it. The proposal is simple and doesn’t take a thousand pages of psycho babble to espouse or a team of lawyers to interpret. Continue reading

Obama Slips, Specter Dips And Obamacare Is R.I.P.

It is bad news if you are a liberal socialist these days. First off, Barack Obama’s approval numbers continue to slip. The latest daily Rasmussen poll shows Obama’s “strongly” approved of rating is down to just 29%, and his total approval rating is down to a new low of 47%. Continue reading

Debbie The Idiot Stabenow And Global Warming Dreams

No one, outside of the moonbat community, has ever considered Michigan Senator Debbie Stabenow of being any of the following: intelligent, reasonable or competent. She is also a prime lesson in how liberals just feel that the reason their ideas fail is because they have not done enough or spent enough money to make them work. This is how she gets elected in a state like Michigan, a state where liberal policies have completely devastated the state’s economy. Continue reading

The Longer It Drags On, The Worse It Gets

Every day I get a lot of email from liberals who really want socialism to squeeze out the last vestiges of capitalism that exist in America. Our current health care system is far from capitalistic with major portions already under the control of the federal government through programs like Medicare and Medicaid. They are also failing miserably at providing quality care at a reasonable price which is why many doctors turn away patients on both programs. Other large portions of our health care system are so regulated by the States (such as dictating what minimum requirements insurers must provide in order to sell insurance in a state) that there is no doubt that we already have a vastly socialized system. Continue reading

Rep. David Scott Looses It When Confronted On Obamacare

We have yet another moonbat who is just being hit with questions he cannot answer about the socialized medicine bill winding its way through the halls of Congress but temporarily on hold due to the August recess. Confronted by a doctor about whether or not the Congressman would support yet another socialized medicine plan along the lines of Medicare, Medicaid and even the Massachusetts model and pointing out that such plans do not work, the Representative went off on a tangent to avoid answering the question like a good little Democrat: Continue reading

[email protected] Puts White House In A Bind?

Now this is quite interesting. An alert reader sent me this link yesterday after I posted my article “I’m Self Reporting To [email protected]” which contained a set of self provided links to my, what I am sure are considered “misinformation” to any lefty, posts about Obamacare. Seems Judge Andrew Napolitano, who while I disagree with him every now and again is definitely infinitely more qualified to be listened to than the likes of Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid or Barack Obama, has some points to make about how what has become known as the “Snitch Line” puts Obama in a damned if he does, damed if he doesn’t situation. Oh the sweet irony! Continue reading

Grandma’s Run

In the movie adaptation of Nolan and Johnson’s novel “Logan’s Run” we visit a world that few think could possibly exist. The remaining bits of humanity that survived a great holocaust are locked up in a domed city where resources are scarce and that for the good of society they must submit to having their lives terminated at age thirty in order to keep the population sustainable. Or so they are told. Continue reading

I’m Self Reporting To [email protected]

Barack Obama is so concerned that people are misrepresenting his plans for socialized health care as socialized health care that his administration has, in typical Obama fashion, established a “tip” line where concerned citizens worried that information they may be getting about Obama’s left wing plans can report what they hear. And of course so Obama can track his political enemies and formulate more lies to claim that his plans for socialized health care is really not a plan for socialized health care. Continue reading

Don’t Skip First Principles When Confronting On Socialized Health Care!

While I am proud to see my fellow Americans standing up against the tyranny of our government which is trying to tighten its grip on our liberties, I am worried that too many of you standing up at meetings and confronting our so-called representatives in Washington are putting the cart before the horse. Continue reading

Barack Obama And His Minions In A Huff Over Drudge

Barack Obama is not used to having his authority questioned. He likes to intimidate and have his words followed like the Gospel of John. So you can imagine how utterly frustrated he has become that some common man like Matt Drudge is taking him to task and beating him over the head every day by just basically presenting the facts of the matter. Continue reading

Why The Republican Party Annoys Me

Mr. Michael Steele – yes I am talking to you. You need to get the Republican Party under control. I am holding you responsible for my annoyance today at the Republican Party because now, twice within the past month, I have received form letters bearing your signature begging me for money. I know, you come up with cute little names for these letters and reasons to send them but let’s get down to brass tacks – you are trolling for donations. Continue reading

The Torches Are Blazing And The Pitchforks Are Sharpened

Congressmen and Senators, especially from the Democratic Party are in for a long August recess as they are finding crowds not at all receptive to them if they are viewed as being even slightly in favor of government run health care. Politico reports about several events that have resulted in these scoundrels having to basically confront We The People. One Democratic liberal, political lightweight, and Constitutional illiterate, Rep. Lloyd Doggett had his excuse ready for the hostile reception he has received blaming it on: Continue reading

Liberals Gun Grabbers Not Making Any Real Headway

The number of Americans that support and understand that the second amendment is a fundamental right that must be protect remains high. In fact, new polling by Zogby sheds some light on how Americans see liberal gun grabbers. Continue reading

Does Senator Specter Not Want To Speak To Hard Working Pennsylvanians?

Senator Benedict Arlen Specter is out and about holding “Open House Town Meetings” with the public and after yesterday’s less than friendly response to his appearance in Philadelphia where he was repeatedly booed and heckled it is not that hard to see why the rest of his schedule is set up the way it is. At a Sunday meeting you are sure to get a lot of people that have jobs showing up, such as his August 2nd event. However the rest of the schedule is notorious for the way politicians avoid confronting hard working Americans and setting up events at all sorts of hours during the week where they can be assured that those showing up are those that have their hands in the cookie jar somewhere and don’t have a job to attend. Continue reading

Why Is Private Health Insurance So Expensive? Thank Government

People keep railing against private health insurance companies for the premiums they charge for coverage. But do they ever stop to consider why those premiums are so high? One of those reasons is all the free care that drug companies and doctors give away each year to the under and uninsured. Shh, don’t tell anyone that this goes on because the myth that there are people who cannot get health care is a powerful tool for those seeking to strip Americans of their liberties. Thomas J. Perrelli’s Decision Comes Under Scrutiny

When I say Thomas J. Perrelli you probably say, “Who?” Mr. Perrelli is the number three guy over at the Justice Department and he was the man that, after the government had won a pivotal voter intimidation case against the New Black Panther Party in Philadelphia, decided to drop the case to protect the group. The Help John Conyers Read The Damn Bill Act of 2009

The Help John Conyers Read The Damn Bill Act of 2009
By: J.J. Jackson
Democrat Representative John Conyers, husband of the corrupt and convicted former Detroit councilwoman Monica Conyers, has actually said something that makes sense. It is a rare moment indeed for the often bumbling Congressman who I suspect on more than one occasion has [...] Continue reading
