Debbie The Idiot Stabenow And Global Warming Dreams

No one, outside of the moonbat community, has ever considered Michigan Senator Debbie Stabenow of being any of the following: intelligent, reasonable or competent. She is also a prime lesson in how liberals just feel that the reason their ideas fail is because they have not done enough or spent enough money to make them work. This is how she gets elected in a state like Michigan, a state where liberal policies have completely devastated the state’s economy.

When it comes to the topic of Global Warming or, as it has become now known as more ambiguously, “Climate Change,” Ms. Stabenow has her opinions on the matter. Despite cooling temperatures, no increase in severity or number of storms directly attributable to climate change as we have been told they would, and so on, Debbie has it ingrained in her noggin that Climate Change is real.

She comes to this conclusion because she says she can “feel” the effects of this nonexistent phenomenon.

“Climate change is very real,” she confessed as she embraced cap and trade’s massive tax increase on Michigan industry – at the same time claiming, against all the evidence, that it would not lead to an increase in manufacturing costs or energy prices. “Global warming creates volatility. I feel it when I’m flying. The storms are more volatile. We are paying the price in more hurricanes and tornadoes.”

Really Debbie? “More hurricanes” every year? Here is a chart of actual data from NOAA. It goes back all the way into the 1800’s but since only recently have we begun to be able to see storms in the Atlantic that we do not encounter those early years obviously undercount the number of storms. Look at the data from 1955 to now. In fact the number of storms has been very constant except for the last few years where there was a noticeable spike. This year however there has been literally no activity. There is obviously no correlation between the number of storms and the amount of CO2 (and theoretical Global Warming). If there were we would clearly see an increasing trend line and there is no such thing here.

Debbie, for “feeling” and not using your brain, I dub thee a blithering idiot! And you are unqualified to lead the people of your state.
