Obama Gets Freudian

“The reforms we seek would bring greater competition, choice, savings and inefficiencies to our health care system,” – President Barack Obama on his health care reform plans Continue reading

The Birth Certificate Doesn’t Matter Eh?

Are people just wanting President Obama to prove his eligibility to be President under the standards of the Constitution by producing a valid birth certificate, and not just a certificate of live birth given to even foreign born children, fringe? Liberals who adore Obama even as he drives America over the cliff say yes. But here is a video that is pretty illuminating. Continue reading

OUCH! Obama Looses 8% In Matchup Against Romney

In 2008 Obama received 53% of the the popular vote. When Americans were asked if the election were held today, who would they vote for in match ups against potential GOP challengers Obama garnered just 45% in a match up against the moderate former governor of Massachusetts, Mitt Romney. Romney, certainly more conservative than John McCain, but still slightly left of center (remember his failed socialized health care plan now bankrupting the state he used to lead?) leaves Obama wondering when the bloom fell off his rose. The Rasmussen poll was published yesterday. Continue reading

Only 18% Of Americans Understand Economics

Only 18% of Americans understand economics. 67% like socialist ideas of people getting more than what they pay for. Which, as I have often said, proves that most of those “conservatives” that respond to surveys by claiming that they are “conservatives” are indeed not. There are a lot of you out there and sooner or later you are either going to have to admit that you are not conservatives or accept conservatism and grow up. Continue reading

Liberals Squabble Over New Found Power

“I don’t want to run auto companies.” – President Barack Obama, April 29, 2009

So President Obama claims although you have to read into what he said. He did not say that he “would not” run auto companies. He said that he “didn’t want” to run auto companies. Implication? He will if he must to achieve the goals he wants. Continue reading

U.S. Heath Care System Gets Thumbs Up According To Zogby Poll

84% of Americans are happy with the their current health care according to a Zogby Poll. The other 16%? Well who knows really. These numbers match many other polls which continually show that Americans are satisfied with the current system in place in the United States which is so heavily regulated that it is amazing any of us can actually afford insurance to pay for it. Continue reading

The Downward Spiral Of Support For Government Health Care

Liberals are over a barrel. They have to pass universal health care (really universal health insurance since health care is already “universal” to anyone not too lazy to get it) in order to not look impotent. With the “stimulus” failing, TARP a fiasco, Cap and Trade facing serious challenges in the Senate, Obama’s [...] Continue reading

America Is Becoming Like The Home Run Derby

America Is Becoming Like The Home Run Derby

This past week Americans got to once again enjoy the spectacle of Major League Baseball’s All-Star Game as well as all the festivities and side events that go along with it. One of those events is, of course, the Home Run Derby where sluggers flex [...] Continue reading

And They Want To Contol Our Health Insurance And Care “¦

Now this is funny. While government is busy trying to convince us that they are competent enough to run our health care system and provide health insurance to Americans, we keep turning up story after story showing how they screw up even the little things on a regular basis. The latest is an admission from the federal government that they have erased the original tapes of the moonlanding from July 20, 1969! Continue reading

America Is Becoming Like The Home Run Derby

This past week Americans got to once again enjoy the spectacle of Major League Baseball’s All-Star Game as well as all the festivities and side events that go along with it. One of those events is, of course, the Home Run Derby where sluggers flex their enhanced and unenhanced muscles in a duel to see who can put the most balls over the fence. Continue reading

Genius Joe Biden Ignores First Rule Of Holes

The First Rule of Holes states simply that when you are in one, stop digging. For example, if you and your family are spending more money each month than they are bringing in then logically spending more and going deeper into debt will not erase your debt. However Vice President Joe Biden believes that government is special and that the obvious rules of debt do not apply to government. Continue reading

Military Decides Obama’s Legitimacy Not Worth The Hassle

I said on Monday in a post titled, “When The Weird Gets Bizarre” that the whole issue of Barack Obama, his birth certificate and his ultimate eligibility to serve as President just keeps getting stranger and stranger with the actions of hospitals hiding so-called letters from the President proclaiming birth in one place while it has been repeatedly reported in others by the mainstream media. Continue reading

I’m Gonna Jump!

In a remarkable scene that played out before the world, President Barack Obama’s teleprompter, which some have speculated is the real brains behind his presidency, committed suicide. Yes, it was a terrible and messy affair as you can see from the video embedded at the end of this post. Continue reading

When In Doubt, Circle C “¦

The old saying that anyone who has ever taken a multiple choice test knows says, “When in doubt, circle C.” Well the liberals are circling “C” again when asked the question of how to pay for all their glorious, and of course unconstitutional, spending programs like Socialized health insurance. Yes, once again the answers have been put before them and they are opting to do what they always do – tax the evil and vile rich. You know, those people that own the companies you work for and who without you might not get a paycheck? Continue reading

When The Weird Gets Bizarre

My thoughts on the whole birth certificate of President Obama thing are pretty well chronicled. To summarize I don’t think the Democrats would have been stupid enough to nominate a Constitutionally ineligible candidate and that the whole reason he just doesn’t end the whole controversy by releasing the document is that there is something contained within it that would make him a liar possibly several times over and a fraud on other fronts. But of course I have been wrong before. Continue reading

Government’s Unconstitutional Census Tactics Well Known

Once again the readers of American Conservative Daily prove that they are well ahead of the curve and probably more Constitutionally literate than the American population as a whole. Recently we asked the question, “Is it unconstitutional for the government to ask any question in the Census other than the number of persons in a household?” Continue reading

Rule By The Most Offended Comes To Crivitz Wisconsin

I am personally sick and tired of the “offended” running our lives as the government using these same “offended” people as an excuse to run our lives. I cite as my latest example the small village of Crivitz, Wisconsin where local authorities trespassed on and confiscated the private property of an American citizen, one Vito Congine Jr.’s, and Iraq War Veteran. His offense? Daring to fly the American flag upside down just before a 4th of July parade. Continue reading

Capitalism Works. It’s Government That’s Buggered!

If I ask you what is different today than a year ago one of your first answers would undoubtedly be the economy. A year ago, while I was watching stock prices give hints that there was some sort of trouble ahead and telling me to back my investments out into more conservative safe havens, most Americans were fumbling along much as they always had.
