When In Doubt, Circle C “¦

The old saying that anyone who has ever taken a multiple choice test knows says, “When in doubt, circle C.” Well the liberals are circling “C” again when asked the question of how to pay for all their glorious, and of course unconstitutional, spending programs like Socialized health insurance. Yes, once again the answers have been put before them and they are opting to do what they always do – tax the evil and vile rich. You know, those people that own the companies you work for and who without you might not get a paycheck?

WASHINGTON, July 14 (Reuters) – A sweeping overhaul of the U.S. healthcare system to be announced on Tuesday in the U.S. House of Representatives will include a surtax on millionaires of 5.4 percent, congressional sources said.

The tax rate is higher than the 3 percent surtax lawmakers had been discussing earlier and would be imposed on those making more than $1 million a year, the sources said.

And just like always, their plans will fail as their taxes fail to generate the revenues they hope for. Just ask Maryland how all those taxes levied on the “rich” did not work to raise revenues and actually have been driving them out of the state. But liberals hate to think and consider another answer. Instead they will just keep circling C.
