Don’t Try This At Home Kids “¦

My, my, my so many emails and all with the same request that I start referring to Pennsylvania Senator Arlen Specter as “Benedict Arlen” following his bolt from the GOP yesterday and deciding to return to his liberal roots. It would be a great suggestion but there is only one problem. See, I actually have been referring to Snarlin’ Arlen as “Benedict Arlen” for years already. I even wrote a pair of posts using that exact same term back on Feburary 13th when he gave me the opportunity with his vote on the 2009 Porktacular and again on March 4th when I discussed how PA voters thought it was time to give someone else the job of Senator from the State.

So emailing me demanding that I start using a term I have already been using for years, since I first heard it used back in the mid 1990’s, really doesn’t make much sense! Especially if you are emailing me and claiming that you, “just thought up a great name for Specter,” or other such nonsense.

Don’t try this stuff at home kids! Leave the commentary to the professionals. Don’t worry, I’ll work in the cute little names every now and again.
