The left gets really irked by us continually pointing out how many view Barack Obama as the Messiah come to save liberalism and fulfill their childhood fantasies. Boy do they ever get irked! Because it distracts from their vacuous arguments about conservatives. It is really hard to go out there and repeat the lies about the Iraq War being an unconstitutional war (despite Congress approving it), Conservatives as equivalent to NAZIs (even though NAZIs were socialists), that we are racist because we don’t like Obama’s policies (even though we tend to really like Justice Clarence Thomas and people like Thomas Sowell and Walter E. Williams) and so on when they are distracted by actually having to combat the truth with actual evidence to back them up. Continue reading →

Here is an interesting Gallup Poll (reported by Rasmussen) in which 70% “believe that big business and big government generally work together against the interests of investors and consumers.” In addition to that number, 71% of Democrats actually agree! Before I go on an cite the following Rasmussen Report poll saying that 58% of Americans are against politically attacking the former administration over whether or not waterboarding is “torture” (note that Pelosi, et al had no problem when they were indeed informed of the procedure), I want to correct Mr. Rasmussen on one point.
