Missouri Backs Off Lies About Americans

The other day I talked about how I was now and “Enemy of the State” based on a so-called report by the Missouri Information Analysis Center. The story about how people who promoted third parties, actually *GASP* worried about our country’s ludicrous monetary policy, believed in God, etc were potentially violent militia members out to kill police officers. Thus the initial defense of the report which was that it had been written to help educate officers who were being, we are to believe, slaughtered left and right by these sorts of folks.

The problem with the report was that as most people read through it they found out, quite to their surprise, that they were in fact violent, cop hating, militia members themselves! Just based on the criteria alone!

The absurdity of the report was blogged about extensively and the new media has once again won another battle as the Mainstream Media all but ignored serious commentary on the report. The State of Missouri has backed off according to this report:

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. “” The Missouri Highway Patrol this week retracted a controversial report on militia activity and will change how such reports are reviewed before being distributed to law enforcement agencies.

The Highway Patrol also will open an investigation into the origin of the report, which linked conservative groups with domestic terrorism and named former presidential candidates Ron Paul, Bob Barr and Chuck Baldwin.

The Highway Patrol’s announcement followed a news conference in which Lt. Gov. Peter Kinder, a Republican, suggested putting the director of public safety on administrative leave and investigating how the report was produced.

According to a source I have inside the Highway Patrol, many people in a position of power within the State are still however somewhat confused as to how this report, which painted normal Americans as bad people, was received so poorly. I think to say that they just don’t get it would be an understatement.

However I am not ready to drop my title as Enemy of the State just yet. The fact that such a report was even written tells me that there are enough people in enough powerful positions around this country that need a good scare put into them and understand that if they keep overreaching millions of freedom loving enemies of the state will show them the business end of a rifle. Only when our leaders have that healthy fear will we as Americans be safe from the ravages of those that believe they are destined to lead us.
