The Envirotards invested in the belief that man made Global Warming is real and that it is more powerful than the forces of nature are reportedly not happy and out in force. Like a swarm of locusts they descend on anyone that dares to confront their messiah, Al Gore.
For years I have been talking about how climates are cyclical and pointing out how Global Warming alarmists use a small set of convenient data to attempt to prove their theories while ignoring periods of time when the Earth was warmer than it is today and when mankind did not have heavy industry or SUVs which creates the pollution they claim creates Global Warming. We have been through it all including how CO2 level increase AFTER the warming and not before (as it is released from oceanic waters) thus defeating the claim that CO2 is what causes the warming in the first place.
Well, now Pravada is coming out and telling everyone that another Ice Age cometh – although probably not for many years (centuries and millennia really). Pravada presents, once again, well known scientific and actually predictable data on the Earth’s wobble, it’s orbit and so on that effect how much heat from the sun reaches the Earth’s surface. It is a far leap from models used by the enviromarxists which cannot even predict the past when given actually measured data.
Earth is “on the brink of entering another Ice Age,” according to one report.
Pravda, Russia’s online newspaper, claims evidence shows the warm, 12,000-year Holocene period will soon end, and the planet will experience a glacial age for the next 100,000 years.
“Ice cores, ocean sediment cores, the geologic record, and studies of ancient plant and animal populations all demonstrate a regular cyclic pattern of Ice Age glacial maximums which each last about 100,000 years, separated by intervening warm interglacials, each lasting about 12,000 years,” according to the report.
Pravda cites three astronomical “Milankovich cycles” as further proof of cooling:
The tilt of the Earth, which varies over a 41,000-year period.
The shape of the Earth’s orbit, which changes over a period of 100,000 years, “separated by intervening warm interglacials, each lasting about 12,000 years.”
The Precession of the Equinoxes, also known as the earth’s “wobble,” which gradually rotates the direction of the earth’s axis over a period of 26,000 years.
The astronomical theory of Ice Age causation was first developed by French mathematician Joseph Adhemar in 1842. English prodigy Joseph Croll expounded on the theory in 1875, and Serbian mathematician Milutin Milankovich developed it further in the 1920s and 30s. A trio of scientists, John Imbrie, James Hays and Nicholas Shackleton, published “Variations in the Earth’s orbit: Pacemaker of the Ice Ages” in 1976 in which they linked climate data from ocean sediment cores and astronomical Milankovich cycle patterns.
Of course the response to this study is predictable. The Envirotards are out there saying that even if such things are true that the amount of CO2 humankind is spewing into the atmosphere will counteract these forces and keep the Earth warming. Of course they say this because their models tell them this. Models, I remind you still cannot predict the past from known data.
