Yes, Congress was going to save us all when the House passed a new and “improved” version of the bailout plan (read corporate welfare) with so much pork in it that we could feed the starving children in Africa for a year off it.  The bill was needed to avert a crisis – so we were told.

And in the first full day of trading since the bailout global markets tanked with US exchanges loosing another 3-5% on average.

So to all you liberals in Congress I just want to ask, how’s that bailout thingy working for you?
