Russia continues to throw its temper tantrum like the spoiled child the Russians are. Still bruised about how many of their former comrades no longer wanted to be oppressed under the compassion of communism they are looking to reassert themselves in the world and among their former comrades in particular.

Russia is throwing another tantrum over a missile shield in eastern Europe. Not only are they throwing a tantrum, but now they are even more openly threatening military action!

Well, that certainly did not take long for Nancy Pelosi to put her other foot in it. After proclaiming that the concept of when human life begins was a mater of controversy for the Catholic Church, her professed religion, and then rebuked by the Church with actual teachings, Comrade Pelosi has defended her wrong headed belief that abortion is simply a-ok woth more jibberish!

Recently I have been having some interesting conversations with people I know about political ideologies and the upcoming election in November. This is true especially now as many on the left are getting antsy with Barack Obama and his backtracking on some issues, refining his position on others and a perceived move to the middle on even more.

A reader this week reminded me in an email of a passage in the Bible which refutes that concept of liberalism’s belief that excessive taxation and government welfare programs are akin to charity in order to assuage their own guilt and bolster their own belief that they really are good “Christians”.

Think back, if you will, to the flooding in New Orleans following a massive storm and one William Jefferson, Democrat, who commandeered resources to help him get to his home while the residents of the surrounding area were left to sit on roof tops. Fast forward to this last week where another liberal Democrat has had the government do something for her while other people suffered.

I have been searching high and low for a candidate I can support in the 2008 elections for President even though he may not be on the ballot here in Pennsylvania. Obama is out because he is an un-American Marxist. McCain is out because he is someone that has shown he is not above destroying our God given liberties. Baldwin and Barr are out because they are insane when it comes to foreign policy and are blatantly lying about the process of going to war with Iraq, readily insult our soldiers (at least Baldwin does) and claiming the process was unconstitutional because they simply do not agree with it.

We all know liberals live in their own private La La Land where what they want to believe is the truth even if it is not the truth. Recently, Nancy Pelosi, who claims to be a Catholic, commented that, in her own private La La Land where she lives, that the issue of when life begins has been “an issue of controversy” for the church.

John Edwards has run around the campaign trail over the past few years crying about how there are “two Americas”. He is right too. Although not in the way he believes. He believes that the “two Americas” are the “haves” and the “have nots” and where the nefarious “haves” are constantly working to keep the poor, incompetent “have nots” down. But in reality the “two Americas” that really do exist are where you have some so-called Americans (like most Democrats and many Republicans) who work tirelessly to destroy liberty fighting against Americans struggling to maintain their inalienable rights.

On a tip from a reader I tuned in to Quinn & Rose this morning because they had mentioned that John McCain would be phoning in to the program to discuss his appearance in Washington, PA this Saturday. I also wanted to see if Quinn would give McCain softballs rather than hard questions.
