Hey Harry Reid! Check The Polls!
Harry Reid recently wondered, blabbered and cried is more like it, about why Congress should be afraid of an unpopular President threatening a veto? Well George Bush might be unpopular, but Congress is seen in an even worse light.
The percentage of voters who give Congress good or excellent ratings has fallen to single digits for the first time in Rasmussen Reports tracking history. This month, just 9% say Congress is doing a good or excellent job. Most voters (52%) say Congress is doing a poor job, which ties the record high in that dubious category.
So there is your answer Harry Reid! Congress is scared of a threat by President Bush to veto legislation because Congress is liked even less!
But don’t worry. Most of the scum in Congress will still get re-elected because the “crooks” are the other guys and gals – right voters?
