Every time we get a poll of Americans taken on social and economic issues we get the same result – the Democratic Party is the undisputed home of socialism, communism and fascism in America today. But point out that such ideas are strictly un-American and even worse dare call a Democrat who believes in such policies a socialist, communists, fascist, etc. and they go ballistic!

Al Gore tells you to conserve. Al Gore tells you to cut back. His “grace” tells you to sacrifice. But he is Al Gore is high priest of the Church of Al Gore. And when you are in such a lofty position, you need not practice what you preach.

And to think many Conservatives were enamored with Mike Huckabee during the primaries.

Liberals in Congress (both Republican and Democrat) are spending like drunken sailors yet again. Yes, they are still trying to provide yet another government handout to people that made bad investments and took on more risk than they could handle. But what else is new?

So, now that that is out of the way, let’s cut to the chase. For years the IRS has bullied churches that dared to speak up on politics and pastors that stumped for particular candidates from the pulpit – well, at least when such candidates are Republicans or generally right of center. The fact is that the IRS rarely threatens churches that either promote Democrats or even invite candidates to speak from their pulpits.

The pea brains in Congress and many of their cronies around the country have found the problem that, they feel, is causing us so much pain at the pump. First they tried to demonize the oil companies. But that did not work too well.

Pay attention – most people don’t like the job Congress is doing according to a new Rasmussen poll. 52% say Congress is doing a poor job. Only 11% rated Congress as good or excellent in doing their job.

The Obama campaign has already been caught in the past manipulating the crowd at appearances and photo ops. They are at it again – this time trying hard to keep people that look too Muslim out of pictures:

Remember Elian Gonzalez? Remember the “daring” raid by “brave” agents of the American government to snatch the young boy from his family here in America, where his mother died to bring him, in order to return him to the people’s “paradise” of Cuba.

Leftists are leftists are leftists. Whether it was Hilter or Stalin or Mussolini in the past or whether it is Hugo Chavez, Kim Jong Il or certain members of Congress today doesn’t matter. They all have the same answer to any problem in a free society and that is to “nationalize” (aka socialize) the economy.
