Obama’s Church Bolt See As Political Calculation
It was not even close. When asked what people visiting American Conservative Daily thought about Barack Obama and his sudden decision to leave the Trinity United Church of Christ, a church he defended over and over even as the radical message was becoming more and more widely known, the overwhelming answer was that it was a political calculation to distance himself from the long time church. Reasonable people would of course conclude that no one would belong to a church they did not agree with, and his leaving was seen as an attempt to distance himself from the controversial views.

This could be problematic for a man who has been claimed to transcend politics. Hard to do that when you are seen doing things for political expedience by such a clear majority.
But I have a sneaking suspicion that lots and lots of people don’t care - which has lead to the fall of nearly every nation on this planet over time.
