» Symbolism Lost

Boy, I tell you – there are a lot of people out there that can’t recognize sarcasm and symbolism when it is staring them straight in the face. My column last week (A Hooters Girl In Every Bed) has brought some of the absolute dumbest emails I have ever gotten sent to my mailbox.

Their 8-11 cents on the dollar profit margin is small compared to other industries and considering all the regulations they have to deal with to bring you a product you demand. Then of course there are all the speculators driving up the cost and having to deal with tin horned despots all around the world who are important for no other reason than they sit on deposits of Black Gold.

» No “Illegitimacy” For Obama Without Michigan and Florida Delegates

I’m going to go out on a limb here and say that someone (probably Rush Limbaugh) must have said something about Barack Obama being an “illegitimate” nominee if he wins the nomination and the votes in Florida and Michigan are not counted at the Democratic Party’s Convention.
